today i’m showing you some of the ways i like to style basic pieces in my capsule wardrobe for the winter to spring transitional season. of course with a minimalist wardrobe there are very limited pieces to mix and match, but i hope to inspire you mostly on different “ways” to wear these pieces. imo changing how you style things can help to cover different occasions and breathe new life into old things. i truly "feel" different in each of these spring outfit ideas. hope you enjoy!

My goal is to streamline my wardrobe; this excellent video will help me do exactly that by helping me see how to create outfits without needing so many pieces. I like the white shirt because the closure is a bit lower on the neck, it’s nicer for wearing it buttoned-up. You don’t “have to wear a white blouse and black pants”, even to the most formal, conservative office. So long as your outfit is modest, professional, and not super-trendy, there’s a ton of leeway. I worked my whole career in an office like that, and never wore anything that severe. It looks great, but it’s not required, more color, prints and some draping, like a dress or skirt, are fine. I did wear a blazer nearly every day, though, mostly as part of a skirt suit, which was “normal business attire” for women then (beginning in the 80s). They’re back in style now!

I love all these styles! Wonder what you think about "old pink" ( dont know if its the same word in english) and khaki? I cant wear black it doesnt suite me, i am very pale and feel washed out.

Same!! I don’t wear black tops much for that reason too. Color (or white) always is more flattering, so softer/muted colors are great - is old pink something like dusty pink? If so yes!

Not at all! I like aerie’s wireless line for bras - super comfy tons of colors and really cute / flattering. The no-show undies are from Victoria’s Secret, quite old but I think they’d still make them ☺️

Haha never! We all gotta wear them. For bras I have tried so many and keep going back to aerie surprisingly to myself - love their wireless bras they are really comfy and fit well, also are flattering. For everyday panties I personally buy cheap bc they just get ruined eventually. And for lingerie I like fleur du mal but that is like flying money and not practical at all haha. Hope this helps 💕

Ooh I think that’s cute! I think balancing the proportions of the pieces is the key to styling, like, if you have a more fitted skirt, i’d go for a boxier white tee.
