For JATCO RE4RO1A transmission, I simply left it in water and allowed the sun to heat it up about 100 degrees outside. Soaked for an hour in a black plastic tub. Scraped right-off. Thank you for this help! Excellent.

4700 views. I can confirm this works. I used a turkey/crawfish boiler and an aluiminum pan. Worked amazing. I finished with 600 grit sand paper and looked like new. Thank you, great trick.

It works better if you soak it in brake or carburetor cleaner for about a day and then do this.
