Hi, I just wanted to point out that in the actual rule book you do not get 1 point per 2 acorn you have. The only acron points is the person with the fewest get 5 point. Other than that great video!
Well now I'm even more excited for this to arrive next year- I can't wait to see the final version/kickstarter upgrades. As always, super clear explanation, cheers guys :D
Hi Tarrant & Stella, indeed the explanation is crystal! Well done! I truly love the art & robot miniatures (as per the previous KS Transmissions art books campaigns). Personally I’m not convinced about the game, though, however that’s what the preview is all about, right? Thanks!
Hi Jasper, thank you so much, glad you find it clear. Oh yes I saw the Transmissions campaign, very cute. There are mix of things on the game, it's around medium complexity I think. Hope you find out more about it from the reviews :) Thanks for dropping by! Stella
Wow, this looks like an incredibly interesting game with very cute artwork. I'll wait some reviews to know how it plays, but I already like it very much! It seems to have a great mix of strategy, tactics, and luck, and since you share the workers with everyone else you need to think dynamically every turn. I hope it will turn out nicely... and that we'll have the super cute robot miniatures in the final version as well ;)
Artwork looks good, gameplay seems boring and although I understand how to play it doesn't appear to make sense. Why are we just building a random pipeline? Why would a robot need a sock?
I had a similar reaction. Why are we building this pipeline? Seems like lot of ideas thrown into the game but not much cohesion unless it wasn’t presented in just a rules explanation video.
The explanation was well done. Art is incredible. Interesting that everyone controls all the same pieces and has the same cards right, but the initial shuffle of your deck determines when you will be able to move which robot. The scoring in this game is bonkers. Pipes are so expensive and your 5 long example got you 15 points but just so happen the butterflies and birds you had on various tiles were 30. I don’t know how to feel about the forest cards being scored like they do, just that they have a base score, then a bonus score, then they are the tie breaker too, wow. I very intrigued by this game, I just don’t know how to grasp the balance of the game and point scoring. Probably wind up backing it though because in the end everyone is under the same crazy point system and besides that I like everything else about it.
Haha interesting thoughts, thanks for sharing your thought process :D Product will be launched soon, so probably the designer would be able to reply to that rules question. This is prototype too, so rules can be changed ;P Thanks for dropping by! Stella
