Hi Agnes thanks for doing video and the software looks good but can you pls think about doing one where you explain your role as TM .....mayb downloading tacho cards ,tacho head and where and how you file them for the next 15 months ,I think that would be very interesting ....keep up the great work and I hope yours and jash's business is going well .....and the hx has got busier 👍
Yes sure that is a great content suggestion I should put something up together soon. Business is a little slow at the moment but I guess that’s just how it is with every business. Hx hasn’t yet made us the money this year so so far it was a waste of money to extent the licence. Hopefully it will pick up soo. Thank you so much for watching and comments we really appreciate it
can u elaborate a bit more. meaning, what yr tasks as TM. like downloading drivers & truck tacho. Then what do you with that information/data? Do you have to submit to DVSA ? What about O license or renting your own yard. Perhaps give us an insight of how you acquire yr place, what and how to apply instead ofx6 truck inspection you can do everyx9 weeks ?

hiya, your duties will depend on the size of the company you will be managing / amount of trucks, drivers under your control. A lot of TM's duties is explained on your CPC course, rest comes with the actual experience
looks like a much smaller version of fen farm milton keynes, which was sold for industrial(prologis park) and housing, i had my caravan pitched there for 2 and a half years when i was working on the train station develpment in mk years ago :) :)

Hi congratulations and well done. Two routes you can find the job. One is to find a job in a logistics co that is looking for a TM maybe start of a clerk position building up your experience and confidence and then move on to individual co needing external TM or you can join FB groups for TM and ask around there if there is anyone who knows anyone who needs TM. Hello. Don't understand one thing. Does the driver couldn't do it by himself? I mean as a TM you have to spend so much time to build a plan for him and find loads, build schedule, and this is kinda non stopping process . What if you have 4 operators and 10 trucks for example? How you are able to manage it? Maybe I am not aware of something because my lessons will begin only in November . Thanks.
Yes it seems like you not clear on what TM duties are. TM is here as a bridge between operator and Traffic commissioner- so TM makes sure you are compliant and keeping the undertaking of the licence. It’s not TM duty to find the loads etc especially in a small company the operator himself does that and makes sure they plan they work etc. TM checks tacho, makes sure driver does vehicle checks , PMI is done so truck is safe to use etc. so I think it will become more clear to you once you’re done with your CPC course. Thanks a lot. Now I understand that this is NOT I am looking for to become. But what about logistics/expedition/dispatcher. How to become a person who are keeping fleet busy always? A person who are using all EU platforms with cargo exchange and build a plan for owner operators. Or this type of business is not spread in EU as it is spread in the USA? Thanks a lot for the answer. Now it looks like I don’t need CPC because it is absolutely not the thing that I am looking for.
@@jerlo198920 good you figured this now before you started study. I imagine you need to be looking for allocators jobs of some sorts and start with big logistics companies as a junior and build your experience. You don't need qualifications I would imagine to do this kind of job.
and will be penalized for not doing it. glad I never started will use pen and paper. Not feeding the beast for this dystopian nightmare there trying to bring in. hopefully people will wake up one day.
pen and paper method will be entirely replaced soon. Like tachos used to be manual, now not allowed (unless technology fail) you can deny as long as allowed all you like, but the government will make these things digitalised by law very soon. Better get used to it now...
@@AgnesMann I don't so, but you can. I'm a NO man keep complying see where it gets you. Keep feeding to beast and do everything it says on them devices. Yes will be prison time and 5k fines won't it.
