@@johnnyparks3726 fr the search was something else and he just had never disappointed. The consistency is crazy and even the music videos are always pretty much movies
The NF verse is fire, but the Hopsin verse was the main event. I love how NF let his ego go and let Hopsin shine on this track. It's the mark of an artist that appreciates other talented artists.
Late ass reply since I usually don't look through the comments much, but.. Yeah, everybody always says every track in hip-hop has to be a contest, it's always about who's best and every single rapper will always try to out do one another. NF doesn't care. He cares about the story, the message and the music. If rap were a video game, NF's playin' co-op in a PvP world. It's beautiful.
While Hop came in harder and was outright awesome, 😎 it's unfair to say NF didn't set the whole thing up, both artists get a Solid 9, difference is NF gave me Chills, Hop made me punch a wall with everything I got, I don't know man you decide it's a tie for me Pass!!
Dont think NF woulda had him on the track if he did. I dont expect Tech N9ne to be cussing either on Trust. Its a form of respect, and it is one of NF's trademarks.
@@goomymfNF has said on twitter before he doesn't care if other artists curse on his tracks and even has a song with Futuristic that container Futuristic swearing. I think artist's just naturally know out of respect not to swear on NFs songs, doubt NF censors anyone.
@@jacobmartinez2570 Yeah but that's not the point of the example. It's to show he doesn't care if others do it. It's a personal choice. Plus that doesn't negate what he's said on twitter.
I ain’t here to praise hop for not cursing. I respect him because he took out a whole rhyme scheme based on having curse words involved and replaced it with different writing and thinking. That’s a sign of a true artist
lot of people consider cursing to be a form of cheating in rap, because you can use it anywhere in the rap, and use those words to finish rhyme schemes and fill in missing time bars. Without that handicap and being forced to use different words, you definitely see the skill involved. It's clear hopsin doesnt just use cursing for that manner and CLEARLY has the ability to compose lyrics
I knew he wouldn’t, but he sounded and said some of the most deepest things that had me tearing up. Seriously I don’t and didn’t miss the swear words. The bars they are spitting are WAY nastier then swear words. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hop doesn't just curse for the sake of it, he also doesn't curse a lot. When he does, its to reinforce the lyrics. Im 100% certain that when Hop wrote the verse, it didn't even start of with curse words.
Oh I thought it represented other people who were LOST, like Hopsin was, but NF saved him with his music. I think it's a metaphor for how NF helps people by rapping.
Pretty sure it's a metaphor about other collaborations with other artists that feel a sense of Lost, which would be great he has a song with Tech coming up which I'm excited for. Maybe this music video will be a series, and the last video will be like 1 giant cypher with all the artist's he's going to collab with.
Check out how Hopsin's bars pay homage to NF's history: spending money on hypnotherapy (Therapy Sessions), staying in a cage I'm in (Outcast), a family I don't have anymore (Why did You Leave Us), demons knocking (Mansion), this dark cloud (Clouds) is my residence (Mansion).
It’s not really him paying homage to NF, he’s telling his story. He made a video couple weeks ago saying he was getting some help in the mental health field and he hypnotherapy was one of the things he was in. About the family he doesn’t have, it’s about his ex how claims he assaulted her and because of that’s he can’t go to Australia where she is with her son. Which as you can tell he can’t see. If you listen to more of his music you’ll notice he always has had those demons. When I saw a collab between this two I imagined it would be good, and it surely didn’t disappoint.
Yall rap fans always talking about how bars made of double entendre or triple entendre on some basic shit, but when someone's telling their story AND doing it via homage to a rapper they're on a colab with you just forget that? Bruh
True. But for all we know, big artists could have tried working with him before. We know Nate was never really one for features he could have turned them down at that time because he takes pride in doing his own thing. I was honestly surprised to see he had features on this project and WHO he got.
@@common_curtisy247 yeah you’re maybe right, i just mean that for a long time he was underrated but now he’s getting bigger and the recognition he’s getting makes big rappers notice him.
@@linmac2137 I don't think it's his popularity. I think it's his appeal. NF has so many fans that are likely religious and listen to him because he doesn't swear and rap about women and drugs. His lyrics are more relatable. Hopsin is relatable too but his lyrics tend to be way more aggressive.
not to be that guy but hopsin actually said that NF was the bigger artist, check out the charts and all its actually true. NF is the bigger artist but he just doesn't show off and stuff ( I'm not saying hopsin is a show off)
“Praying to the Lord with the book of James open”. The book of James talked about worldly sins and living a life in Christianity through good deeds and faith through the life style of Christian behavior. These two are portraying Christianity for what Christ told us. We are imperfect and saved through faith. And as always NF has been killing of since before he was known as NF.
Hop says "praying to the Lord with the book of James"... Verse 16 of chapter 5 says "the prayer of a righteous man avails much". Also Hop didn't cuss at all on NF's track, chapter 3 is about controlling your mouth. But before that he said "I manifested this" and I think he actually had chapter 2 in mind. Chapter 2, verse 18: "Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by what I do"(manifest). Then 2:21 mentions Abraham, and 2:25 mentions Rahab. Later Hop says "add my testament". Did he mean to that list?
Can we just sit back and appreciate the fact that NF doesn’t need to cuss nor exploit drugs, women, money to make AMAZING music unlike other rappers! S/O to hopsin for not cussing in his verse!!
This had some call backs to Paid My Dues, got me thinking about the end of the song where NF's writing LOST on a note. These are two of the most criticized artist out there, that are constantly treated as if they haven't paid their dues in the hip hop world. Another thing i'm not sure if its actually a thing but notice how when Hops verse came in NF stayed in the back and let Hop lead while it was his verse. Then we they were both singing they were back to walking side by side. Lastly I feel like they will find Tech in the field of buried burdens which will be the next track. This is absolutely perfect!
Dude, thoughts over stadium, is biblical. Literally. "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city."
I wonder if Nate and Hop are reading comments talking to each other like “I think we might have stumbled onto something here” We need that NF/Hopsin album.
Crazy that when Hopsin talks about praying and bible there’s an organ riff in the background as if the beat is taking you to church. The beat did a double. So sick.
When I saw NF collaborated with Hopsin, I was all over it. I was a HUGE hopsin fan around 2010-2012 and always felt like he never got the attention for the talent that man has. Now that he’s on a track with someone who’s well established, verses that literally gave a mf goosebumps. I hope that man gets shed every bit of light he truly deserves.
At the end of the video it wasn't simply that the balloons were back. NF and Hop came across a bunch of other people buried in the snow. It could be the start of videos with other collaborations that NF is going to have in his mixtape
I haven't listened to any of your trash or pass, but your affirmations have made a huge difference lately. Love you! Just listened to this! That WAS fire!
"I'm takin' the flaws, that told me I could never evolve, then pull a Bane on 'em, ask 'em 'oh, you think you're in charge?'" --- Best line!!!! Did you catch the reference?
You’re reactions are so genuine and pure you put so much energy into your videos and it resonates. Appreciate the amazing content, thanks for making my day over and over.
Anybody remember hopsins parody announcement of this collab? “The hook be like - 300 racial slurs, then NF be like 300 racial slurs” lmao hopsin is gold. Loved this collab, NF is the man as always.
Yaaaaaa! “Manifested this, do not treat me like some adolescent kid. Praying to the lord WITH THE BOOK OF JAMES.” James 4:2 “You do not have because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”
what an epic Collab. Artist who the industry tries to reject but they spit fire. Hopson may be hated for different reasons then NF but they succeeding when the industry don't want them to
@@kenmonkey No my dude, just inspired caught up in a song taking me higher. NF, Hopsin I recently admire. That's enough about me, what did you find in the passions of this song? Or are terrors the black balloons that follow you along?
@@celestialtiger17 So glad you caught my drift, would never want to be caught in a high rift. All I know is this, these guys really know how to get lift-ed. They just ain't the same when they're lost!
@@kenmonkey It's all good I just picked up some of your wind. No worries though I'm not afraid of any highs or lows. This song just exposes the reality of life. "Hi, how are you?" but ignoring the strife. NF and Hopsin bring a microscope to a problem of a larger scope. But that might not meet your definition of "DOPE" but by God, it gives me some hope. That Rap can have a message again. A song with artistry and facts. I'm done with the repeat of the same talk of booty and stacks. The I bought new kicks and my clicks all while cheat'n with your chicks. Just an institution of lyrical, mumble prostitution.
What's up? I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I just gotta say this, Fr. I'm lovin your energy and the way you truly hear this music, these songs. Like you take the time to pause it and take it all in. Feelin the moment and appreciating the message. So many of us just be hearing the beat and the hype of it but still overlookin the real talk behind it all. These words have meaning and heart and sometimes we all need to stop, realize and understand there's so much more we not lettin ourselves see. Been on your videos like non stop 💯%. Ty and please never quit with it. Be blessed. Love you.🤗
Okay so in the beginning nf said something about the scarecrows in a minefield.. watch the ending again. Btw I didn't watch anyone else's reaction because I wanted too see yours first.
