Having NF change his tone while rapping makes his music videos more intense than most 2 hour+ movies.

This woman’s way of being and mindset is in my opinion like this : life has defeted her , she has anxiety, she is very depressed, she looks down not up because she don’t want to be seen. And she has had enough, completely broken and fed up. I have been there for so many years so i know what kind of physical presence you have when you are just DONE with everything in your own so called existence. Just watch the video masterpiece closely, maybe you will see it. But when this happens, and the whole escapade of « I will die now» mindset kicks in, everything in her changes. She then get into « NO, i will not die, i have to keep on living» survival mode. And she changes her whole behavior, and now she can feel how precious her life is. And now she MUST survive at all costs, and save another life aswell. I can not stress it enough how genius this video is, and how deep this song/video/masterpiece goes into the human mind. This is pure emotions from beginning to end. This is just my own opinion, because i have been in her shoes and i have experienced something very similar. NF is beyond great.

When I first heard this song I was in my car blasting it on my radio, when I finally look down at my speedometer I was going 90. This song gave me so much anxiety and left me completely speechless the gunshot literally stopped my heart NF couldn’t have done a better story song then this

As someone who has been through an armed robbery this hit me HARD, there's a line in particular when the perp asks for cigarettes is almost LINE FOR LIINE what happened to me, either he has been through is or knows people who have. This was TOO vivid for me, it's hard to watch. Can't deny the mans lyrical integrity.

Nf is the most under rated rapper in my opinion, i just wish people would recodnise him more and appreciate what he does as just as much or even more than some other rappers.

But I still keep coming back, and watching your reaction is what I look forward to. I’ve been listening to rap for 39 years (Run DMC, LL, Dougie Fresh, Scott LaRock, KRS-One, UTFO, all the great pioneers), and this song brings much nostalgia back to me. Reminds me of Dougie Fresh and Slick Rick telling stories in their songs. Heck, even EZ-E with “No More Questions”. Great story telling. The good ole days…
