Nice to see the Adraga and Summiteer next to one another. I hesitated between the two, but no regrets now that I see them next to each other. I love the grey coating and dark dial of the Summiteer, making it much more of a toolwatch. Very comfy to wear, too!
There's something about Traska that makes them my favourite microbrand. The design is, I don't know how to put it, honest! Nothing too out there but with enough personality, all well put together and solid looking, just how an everyday/GADA watch should be.
This looks like a great watch - I keep seeing more field watches and now I want to buy one...but there are so many choices. Fantastic review - thank you Rob 😊👍
Good video. Just received my new midnight blue Summiteer. The current version has a solid screw down case back and a sapphire box crystal. The crystal gives a bit of distortion over the seconds ring-which looks good. Current price is $550 with 2nd day FedEx. I think the watch looks much better in person than in stock pics and so far seems well worth the cost.
Love this. Exactly what I want. I have another watch in this style I also like with the only negative (for me) that it's a close, close homage to a 60's Rolex Explorer. I prefer the more original design cues here. Not quite worth selling my current one and switching to this, but I do love this watch. However, if I didn't already have a good 3/6/9 no date watch, I'd be jumping all over this. Great review as always.
I’ve got the borealis just love it, they look very similar with slight differences. Not sure why they done 38.3? Do you have any thoughts on that sir. Great review thanks
Hey Rob, awesome video (as always)! I was wondering how this compares with the Nodus Sector Field? Maybe there's a video there? If not I'd love to get your thoughts on the two as both are in the running for my next piece. Thanks man!
@@RyanOManchester my Nodus Duality is definitely more predictable with the timekeeping than my Summiteer, but I have to say the Summiteer has better finishing and QC overall than my Duality. Nodus doesn't seem to do that well with beveling on bracelets, it's something they need to improve.
Very nice. It looks like a good fit for my 6.8-inch wrist. I could see if it has an sw200 movement for 500 but for the Miyota movement maybe 300 dollars I would consider.
The Universa is actually nice. Got to try it on at Wind Up in SF last year. It will have a tool-less micro adjustment clasp. I just wish it was an auto with a screw down crown. If it did it would be a perfect watch for me.
I like the finish on the inside of the clasp. The machining marks are a pretty cool look. I have not noticed that on another watch. As many types of watches as there are its nice to see someone try something unique but subtle.
These watches better be good, with a name like that it will be changed to Trashka in no time if they suck. I like a date function on my everyday watches though.
Looks outstanding, but you compromised yourself when you accept a $500 dollar watch. I will do my research. You can't have it both ways. I am a novice with watches and youTube. I didn't recognize those reviews where the reviewer had close ties to the watch manufacturer for whatever reason. It's not good. Some shows will not compromise themselves for that reason. That being said, I will keep my eye for more intel on that watch. Just bought Eddie's Smith's Everest and it is a beauty. Worth every penny.
People’s perception I can’t change. So if people think I lie about a watch, then that’s on them. If you take the time to follow me you would see that I show and tell style review the watch. It’s up to the buyer to decide if a watch is a good buy or something they want, that’s not up to me and I don’t tell people to buy or not buy.
Fair enough. I enjoy your videos and do my own homework. Just giving you a heads up and thinking out loud. I learned the hard way when I started watching and buying. All good.
You show any watch you get your hands on ... you show dimensions ... some other external facets but never about inner works. It is very shallow, go deep if you want to attract more sophisticated users.
