This is the second dharma talk of the "Together We Are One" retreat at Blue Cliff Monastery. The retreat is part of the larger US Tour with the theme Awakening Together. Help us caption & translate this video! amara.org/v/9iO3/
Dear Sr Dang Nghiem, like any orator your lecture has a verbal message and a non-verbal subliminal message Your beautiful compassionate personality, your voice and how you share your acquired wisdom and your dharma to the audience is the bigger part of the lecture. The children will feel that part of the lecture better than the adults even if they don't follow all the verbal part. And the adults receive your wonderfully positive energy and know intuitively the value of being in your presence. i didn't say this well maybe. Thank you Sr. Nghiem.
Sister Dang, again thank you for this video (I am binge watching since a month). I am new to Buddhism and learned a lot in a few weeks. Continue with your great work, thx. All my kind regards to you all 🥰

Love is a friendship Inspires by beauty+truth And sustains by loving-kindness. De rule of friendship means that There must be a mutual understanding Between them: Each supplying what de other lacks+ Trying to benefit de other And always using sincere +friendly words. Therefore, De expression of love Must be kind+gentle- Not some diamonds in de sky. No master falls from de sky. My soul mate is my Tri Ky
So much wisdom , compassion, communication skills to transmit very profound concepts and knowledge to young kids and adults. Thank you so much. I hear Thay in your words.
Thank you for sharing this wisdom with so much grace, peace and openness. Your words are extremely helpful to me. You said you cannot sit, walk or be like Thay. If that is true then I am thankful because it means you can sit, walk and be like Sister Dang Nghiem instead. Thank you 🌸 🙏😊
I honor and appreciate your desire to impart understanding and compassion for his suffering. I also found myself feeling concerned about the young children’s capacity to understand the person’s involvement with the attackers. 🔆
Very touching story about forgiveness. We need hundreds more institutions like Plum Village. You are doing the most important work to create a better life for the individual and for the world. If all children were taught mindfulness, forgiveness, and presence, they works create a better world as adults. I believe this type of spiritual education is the most important thing that could be taught to children, and adults alike.. God bless you.
Thank you so much Sister D. Listening to you I remind my childhood and my inner child enjoy your class. Your teachings are a precious gift to me. Lots of hugs. EC.
This dharma talk was so beautiful, peaceful and quite powerful. Thank you very much for this upload, I'm looking forward to go to the Plum Village any near time.
A sincere wish resonates throughout de universe because everything is interdependent and interconnected as demonstrated by de uncertainty principle and de wave-particle duality at de atomic level.
De adventure of life is to learn What I find interesting And remember What matters to me. Teaching is even more difficult than learning Because what teaching calls for is this: Encouragement +inspiration!
What's an inspirational sharing insight through your fruitful practice. Your conducting a core Dharma teaching Practice of Thay with a such Skillfully manners and artistically ! I am very happy and cofident in Thay'c continuation! I wish you're being well and cotinue Thay's continuation strongly for long, long time! Nam Mo Avalokita.!!
I am de thing I compose- As one composes a speech. My true self is de only part of me that wants to grow. Pain+suffering=nutrients4growth. Sorrow=preparation4joy. Pain must be positive For it makes its own existence felt. Experience is de teacher of everything. I am that which wants to master my self.
I wish if The Monastic Would be Kindly to show us How to put the Robe on formelly accompanied with the Dharma Gatha step by steps. Particularly, how to wear the scaft on for a Nun. Thanks.
