I stayed at The Protea Hotel by Marriott Karumo Waters Victoria island, it's a really good 3 star hotel right next to the beach. I booked on Travelocity 1 month before my trip and it came out to $100 dollars per night with breakfast included. Just dont buy any other meals at the hotel way over priced. I would go to Shoprite and spend like N20,000 to fill the small refrigerator up with drinks and snack then I would eat at local small vendors for 700 to 1500 naira per meal. Only thing I was not fond of is the unbelievable traffic in Lagos. I'm from New York City and I've never seen traffic like lagos. I love Naija

You are indeed a very smart traveler. Eating at hotels in Lagos can get very expensive and local vendors and shoprite is the way to go. I lived in NYC for a bit and yes it has nothing on Lagos traffic 😩- Thanks for watching and hope you subscribed :)

@@SassyFunke I went over to ur Instagram showed u much love, left good respectful comments and really took my time engaging with your posts. I even went scrolling all the way back to when u last visited New York City because u mentioned here u once lived in New York City to show those post love. Took me like 30 minutes to do all that and all I get is a like. That's why u have over 1400 posts and only 17k followers, u dont engage with ur Instagram followers enough. On the contrary ur fellow travel blogger Em Etimem I only like 1 of her posts and left 1 comment and She was very engaging. That's why she has very little posts and already has like 6k followers on instagram. I kno u wont lose sleep over this whilst you sip ur champagne looking down at lagos traffic from your 18th floor condo apartment in Victoria island looking down at the masses beneath you in your high horse like your an aristocrat breathing in the dirty Lagos air from all the polution. Way to snobbish for my taste. Cant support this type of I'm better than the rest cause I travel the World stuff. Thank you for wasting my time, God bless

Steven Jorge Steven Jorge I don’t know why you choose to spill so much negativity. Firstly I haven’t seen any message from you beyond this one on this post. I don’t get all notifications FYI Do you know what I do beyond RU-vid? Do you know how many emails I respond to daily? The way you responded has shown your true self. I believe it's better to book a cheap hotel near the airport, to avoid costs of taxis. Also, it would help save time from missing your flight back home.

If you want to be at the centre at it, stay in Victoria Island or Lekki Phase 1 and you'll be in good proximity of most happening places on the island. Hope that helps. Hope you've subscribed too :)
