Had 12 days off from work, so decided to take a little vacation. I escaped the winter cold of New York City, and headed south of the equator to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. My first time visiting this amazing city! Travel is something I really enjoy, and flying for free with my airline pilot benefits makes it so accessible.

About 10 days ago, I had a chance to shadow a night shift at the IND ramp tower, watch the FDX in-bounds, look at the incredible sorting operation, and then watch the out-bounds. What a treat! I wondered if you might be coming through or not.

watching this amazing video tour of Rio was a great relief. I have a trip there this upcoming July and many of my students have told me to be careful but you seem like u had no issues, you had your phone out a lot of times and nothing happened so I hope my experience is similar to yours cuz I want to record a lot for my Spanish channel. I´ll try the steak house place you went to :)

Hey Pete, random question if you were a 32 yr. old Engineer would you immediately push to become a second career pilot knowing everything you do now about aviation? Thanks in advance and for the content sir. I'll be finishing up my PPL and jumping right into instrument training this year at a 141! Just curious of your thoughts.
