Everyone needs a mental/physical break and some family time sometimes. Rest up. Recharge. We will all be ready to take the journey with you when you return!
"Nudies" was named after Nudie Cohn, real name Nuta Kotlyarenko, who was the tailor that made the rhinestone covered suits and outfits worn by Country-Western legends and Hollywood cowboys like Roy Rogers. Those are referred to today as "Nudie Suits" and Porter Wagoner probably had more than anyone.
Unicorn here. Nashville Native. Glad to see you stop in Nashville. Second Ave is still looking rough and probably will for a good long time. The bombing was a shame, but that area will come back swinging.
@@cindythecatwoman1601 Mauch Chunk. Town name was changed to Jim Thorpe for some reason. Been there. Lived in Lehigh Valley 20 yrs ago myself. Jim Thorpe was an Oklahoman native American who won a gold medal in the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm Sweden. Town of Mauch Chunk has some interesting history. Not sure why it's named after this man now. Didn't know any of this when I lived there just liked the town itself.
You have given us 9 straight days of an amazing journey!!! I'm actually glad you're going home to get your rest and to spend time with family. You are not a robot Jacob and it's nothing like your own bed!!! Trust me, I live by that testament. Lol No rush!! Send our love to the family!! We will be right here when you are ready to get back on the road.
You so deserve a break and spend time with your family! I think this is my favorite series. So cozy and comfy in a way. Those old towns with those old buildings are so nice. Take your time and relax. The Dixie Highway isn’t going anywhere. Thank you Jacob for all that you do during these stressful times. To you and your family, stay safe and healthy. We will see you soon
In England, (binoculars on a trail map) it’s used to show on a map a “point of interest” it could be a beautiful view or something similar to just look at and enjoy.
Jacob you have a family and a home and your cats, of course you need to have a break, you do a fantastic job with these vlogs, before i watched the vlog i glanced at your subscribers no wow, heading towards 400,000 amazing but not surprised, thankyou Jacob see you after your break xxx 🤗 🚙
I was hoping you would take a break when you got near home. That is a whole lot of driving in the car alone. Enjoy your rest and recharge. I’ve watched your videos since before you quit your job, and this series is at the top of my list of favorite videos of yours.
Thank you for sharing what downtown Nashville looks like. I'm glad they are repairing the damage. Don't apologize for taking time to be with your family. Stay safe. ❤👍
Thank you for this. I was born and raised in Winchester. Moved away a few years ago and I haven't been able to return in quite a while. Thank you for "taking" me home and easing the homesickness for a little while.
Hey Jacob, my girlfriend and I have really been enjoying your journey along the Dixie Highway. It's been so much fun to join you on your adventure and experience the sights. Wishing you all the best!
I believe this was one of my favorite videos...I love seeing all of Nashville...I hope to get there one day...Thank you for showing us around and a great video.
We are in the middle of a stay at home order up here in Ontario. I've been absolutely loving these daily uploads, it feels like I'm having a road trip with you and not stuck in my house. Thank you so much for bringing me this great entertainment everyday!!
I always worry when you place your camera against the window that your going to break a window the way you tap it again it lol ... I love all the old motel signs! My husband and I always love watching you travel
This road trip is so awesome. I am glad you are taking a little break to spend time with your family. Tell them Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for sharing you. Especially during this pandemic time.. Stay safe and God Bless You and your family
This is a great series . You have a knack for finding the unusual and different and I'm loving it. I'm glad you are taking time to rest and be with your family it certainly well warranted with all the travelling you have done to put this together for us. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
As an ex professional over the road driver, I never got to experience the Dixie Highway historical aspects so I really enjoyed seeing it from your perspective Jacob! I am an avid viewer so please keep up the good work! Kindest regards to you and your family! Joni Kurr
I agree, you need a rest and a break. I get hypnotised by long car rides for hours and hours. It is tiring to the body and brain. Enjoy your rest and Your Great Family, say Hi to Christie and Anna for us. See you when you return!!!!
You said after filming the Pan Man mascot that we need a “pan man hero”. We viewers have had one for year’s ! Pan-ning his camera, with beautiful Pan-oramic shots which now includes the Dixie highway. Have fun / stay safe and we will all see you soon
GB! You only missed Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Merle Haggard. ;) The movie was "The Thing Called Love" Sandra Bullock, River Phoenix, Dermot Mulroney, Samantha Mathis, K.T. Oslin and cameo by Trisha! :) Love this series and I can't wait for the rest after your much deserved rest and family time! :)
I’m so tickled you were in Bowling Green! I’m a WKU alumni and the campus is gorgeous if you ever get back and have a chance to explore the older parts. I hope if you come back through I get the chance to meet ya!
Very nice Jacob! Watched this one real time without subtitles, so reading your lips I knew what was coming. And today with subtitles. Yes, very good of you to take a break when you need it and you are so close to home on a country road! After all we've already got 9 episodes to rewatch and reflect on. What a nice journey, and so much information so much to see. Have a nice time with the family, while we take a break to and look forward to the 2nd part of the Dixie Road.
Thanks for the awesome livestream last night; hope you enjoyed as much as we did, despite that very persistent troll. My friend and I got a kick out of you answering our questions! Really loving this series and you taking us along. The old signage might be my favorite thing. Reminds me of filming with my late grandfather's camcorder in the truck when we would go to our local state park. Such fond memories of him taking us on those trips; you never know what you're going to capture. Get some rest; can't wait for more!
I got so excited when I saw that cross cause being Murfreesboro’s official Forest Troll it meant you were in my neck of the woods! Then you showed the Buddhist Temple Und battle field, this is probably my favorite video. If you’re ever out in Murfreesboro again hit me up, I’ll give you a tour around town. Keep on Scufflin!
The University of the South was created just before the Civil War. 10 dioceses of the Episcopal Church from 10 Southern States got together on top of Monteagle Mtn. Tennessee and formed a Southern University, free of Northern influences.
I actually really enjoy WKU's athletics and really wanna see them play Ole Miss here down in Mississippi. Also,I don't think I've ever seen a WKU fan in Kentucky, then again,my dad is from Winchester which is UK country haha. My relatives and him are about the only Kentuckians I know though.
I hope you're enjoying your break and some well-deserved time with your family. I have really enjoyed the trip with you do far. I'm looking forward to when we can pick up where we left off on the Dixie Highway.
