About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first RU-vid channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Vietnam is such a beautiful place! The food, the views, the service at restaurants and hotels are excellent. Mommy B is so happy; her smile is gorgeous. RJ got emotional when they remembered Ligaya. They really love their baby Parrot so much. Oh, the cable car, I also want to ride on that.

When I was in Vietnam I did notice how much fitter older people are compared to the West. I think a big part of that is their diet!

Philippines should follow Vietnam and incorporate more vegetables in our cuisine becoz the statistics show an increase in CKD, obesity and other diseases related to our diets. Vietnamese cuisine is a yum yum yum and suppperrr healthy

If Filipino mothers are showered with financial blessings and material signatures, then they generally embrace their gay kids. Otherwise, Filipino mothers who are religiously fanatics are less accepting of their gay kids, not to mention the machismo mindset of their fathers.

You are not supposed to eat the stems of the herbs. You should pluck the leaves off the stems.

Most people seem to feel reluctant about travel because of language barrier. I don't see that as a reason to worry since there are so many translators if not an app for learning foreign languages. Well, I use Immersive translate since it works out for me as both a translator and a learning platform. I was even happier once I learned that it was free

I was in Vietnam for 6 weeks and people spoke English good enough for us to understand each other! I would also recommend to learn some basic Vietnamese (just hello, how much is it, numbers up to ten etc), Vietnamese people really appreciate it!

You should research the history of the region, indo china and the roots of the Vietnam war, the importance of Da Nang and the Han river during the war. The film „Indochine“ although fiction, gives a good insight into life towards the end of french colonial period. It is an interesting petiod and an example of the effect of European colonialism.

Da Nang is one of my favourite cities in Vietnam! I’d definitely recommend visiting Hanoi as well. The food is incredible and the city is so charming! I would also try to squeeze in Ninh Binh if you can, the landscape there is beautiful.
