ln this video I explore creating A HUGE World/Sandbox Game Prototype (testing: Parkour'esque Gameplay in FPS + 3rd Person + VR 1st person + VR 3rd Person + Spectator Camera That is available in world as a Camcorder/Camera and outputs as a Spectator Cam) I have also setup a VR spectator cam that controlled from desktop in VR (mouse + keyboard ) aand in my next video you will see the new VR Follow-Cam in action.
VR Sandbox Prototyping and Unreal 5.3
I am creating new VR Sandbox for 5.3
The combination of a 'physical' reactive Full IK body in VR, with the ability to interact with anything, Together with the Advances for VR in UE 5.3, has created something greater than the sum of its parts.
It suddenly feel like a Holodeck. Lumen lighting, Nanite geometry and most importantly: Chaos physics. It is like an EPIPHANY.
In my next video, to test the migration from Physx to CHAOS, .. You will see, I pick up a long Ladder in VR with both hands, and maneuver it onto a Tabletop crowded with items and I only expected it to be as good as Physx and i would have been happy,
But it surprised me, for the first time in VR (10years), I felt my VR Body! I felt connected to the Ladder and the felt the ladder react to numerous smaller objects. Chaos Physics so smoothly manipulated the many small things out of my Ladders way ... it was like a paradigm shift!
UNREAL 5.3 IS MIND BLOWING IN VR. Self illuminated objects and Realistic Reflections. They fixed MetaHumans in VR... With my CHAOS updated UE 5.3 VR Holodeck Kit, you have a body and interact with the world.

I made this for a company as a 'technical test' for a very relevant job. *Got the job!* _But_ before on-boarding me, they 'went under' due to: reasons. Back to the Drawing -board- _Tablet!_ ...

Hello I gave a longer response on the episode where you commented, but I do plan to get back to it sometime. Currently I am battling high rent, trying to find work and trying to not become homeless. Life is very hard for a technical artist. I can make anything, except an opportunity... Since I made this episode I've become expert in Unreal Engine and VR, an AI,... And all of those things were inspired by the initial seed of my love for Star Trek and politics and VR... So watch this space something good is going to come!
