Layperson diy for replacing the console lid on a 2014 Chevy traverse. Because I like not having a car payment but equally like my car not feeling so run down. Bye ripped console lid!
NEEDS:
- T20 star but
- drill (or a screw driver that holds bits)
- a new lid (I got a dorman 925-088 from Amazon for $70 in august 2021)
Optional:
- ph2 or Phillips head screw driver
^^this is only if you’re not an animal and want to clean underneath it while you can.
Anyone can do this. It was easy.
Should also pertain to other year traverses but mine is a 2014 and I’m not a mechanic, so I can’t confirm that.
