Owning a vehicle comes with many different components that can break or stop working correctly. Some of these problems may not affect the operation of the vehicle, but it may take away some of the features that we use from our vehicle. This video shows you how to replace the Front Floor Console Compartment Door on a Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave & GMC Acadia 2009-2017.

Thank you SO much! I found the part for my 2008 Acadia on Ebay for $37 and installed it in less than 15 minutes, thanks to this video. Again, thank you so much!

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you and your video. Like others, I was able to pick up a replacement on eBay and was able to install the new one using your video as a guide. Similar to you, I had to pop the back trim off where the cigarette lighter is to get at a piece that had broken off and was all the way down in the back. Once that back trim was off, it was easy to slide the piece up along the track so it could be pulled out the front. Thanks for taking the time to make and post your video!

Thank you so much. My broken door has been bugging me, but I didn't have a clue on how to repair. Your video was extremley helpful. One additional note. Instead of rreplacing the door at 50-60 dollars, I tried repairing the door. I had just purchased a roll of T-rex tape. This is a very strong filament type of tape. I positioned the broken pieces on a table with the bottom side up, and laid two strips of the tape about an inch inboard of the door edges the entire length of the door. Because of the tape the door didn't want to flex in one direction, so it was a bit more difficult getting it fed into the groove. once done however, the door looks good and works good. Not sure how long it will last, but I can always retape it later on.

Thank you for this video, what is that plastic piece called that you popped off before you replace the center at the start of the video? Mine cracked and I need to replace it but I cannot figure out the name of it to replace it.

I have a 2012 gmc acacia and I’m trying to take off the surrounding plastic edges around the sliding door. I put a necklace and my daughter laid it open and it’s stuck behind the sliding door under the panel. Any suggestion! Thanks in advance
