Put Timo back on rightwing, change the lines to be more defensive minded, and sit those players who keep turning the puck. Do that and I think we might be ok. Playoffs this year is extremely unlikely so my hopes aren't high.

I have never felt great emotion when my team wins. I expect we will win every game. When my team loses, it is emotional and I hate to lose. So my effort to prevent that, is uncompromising, not in a frantic way, but in a committed methodical take no prisoners way. Gimme a guy who hates to lose, you can have the guy who likes to win.
Longtime NHL fan at large here..I saw Travis as a bit of a lightweight as far as head coaches..ultimately seems Devils should move on in the future to a more energized presence which I never really sensed was there watching Canucks. Too bad Andrew Brunette did not inherit this job as he is one of those guys who gets results.
To Fix this team I belive we need to get experienced wingers in there mid 20s with some serious speed that can work well with this team. Defensively, I believe bulking up and teaching the lines how to protect against a verity of different situations around and behind the blue line. Goaltending, we need a trade I feel being a Goaltender for NJ means being the best of the best call me crazy but even if it means giving up top draft picks and a player or two away then so be it. Ik the league has evolved and are "more involved" in todays sport entertainment. But would it hurt to put us back on top? These guys earned it and I belive NJ should be champions in the next 5 years, but for the Devils organization, would the devils have as many Stanley cups without, Martin Brodeur and ik its a team effort but it would be a lie to say they would be where they are without him.

Don't worry it's already started. Counting on 20-year-old defensemen to play 20+ mins a night and counting on 22-year-old goalies to play behind those 20-year-old defensemen is Fitz's fault not Ruff's. It won't be Green's fault either.
