Head is not a good batter. It was poor bowling that made him look good. In india also he was flop until he found flat ahmedabaad In srilanka flop Let see what he do in ashes😂

Great analysis of an entertaining days cricket. I was impressed how Warner and Laberschagne (almost) got through the first session and ate up the tough minutes before the sun came out. How India must be lamenting the decision to leave Ashwin out. The ball did enough for me to think the Aussie bowlers will dine out when the time comes.

I’m starting to think of Head and Brook in a similar way and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. They both are extremely talented but give you a chance and they will be allowed to play their way because they have established batsmen at 3 and 4 to bat with.

@@HamaraBharatvarsh Ashwin wasn't at all the reason we were winning abroad. Bumrah, Pant and primarily Kohli as captain were. Having said that, he's still a far better selection than Umesh.

Travball as I see it is just repackaged Gilly ball. Peak Gilchrist basically played like this. Check the highlights of some knocks on the 2002 tour to SA as an example(IIRC, he averaged something like 400 or something dumb, basically got out only once in all 3 tests)😅

@@anirudhviswanathan3986 obviously Gilly is a legend but want to point out that he often came in at 400/5. Head has been doing his thing from positions of weakness for Australia. Really remarkable.

@@imrealtalk108 Travis head is not only ok ok batter. He has killer mindset and can pull cut drive flick hook. Australian team know who deserves to be in a national team. Not like India where one dimensional player like Iyer,kishan,sky get chance over chance.
