Love Waylon and Willie since I was 10 years old and won The Outlaws album on a radio competition in the late 70's. Love Waylon Jennings Telecaster and Trigger . The Dukes of Hazzard only made me love Waylon more. A great man never to be forgotten.
One of the best country singers of my time i was born in 86 and remember all the travis tritt songs still play them to this day its good to see him healthy and still singing
I have been a fan of Waylon for ever...and i loved your concert in Escanaba Michigan a few years a go. You put on a awsome show...waylon was right...be you own and do it your way.
God bless you Mr. Tritt!!! I still remember being a kid riding in the back window of the car or in the back of the pickup traveling 2hrs to buy new tennis shoe's,listening to these song's, watching mom and dad pounding on the dash and steering wheel. I'm on the verge of getting a placard for the (good parking spots lol) and Mr Jennings still plays through my speakers. It's an absolute pleasure to see a legend playing another legends music and keeping it alive!! My grandkids know and love this music, thank you!!
Travis, YOU are a part of my "chosen Family." You have your own style unlike any other. You are among the best. And don't let your cowboys grow up to be babies. 🎶🎶🎶🎶
i'm a hard Johnny Cash fan since my childhood, but waylon's the second :) Travis, in every Waylon song u pick, he'll live on forever, u are same talent as Good Ol Waylon :) Greetings from Budapest, Hungary.
Awesome. Love it. Travis Tritt is the genuine real deal. Not many left in country like him. Stay true to the country roots. Not this crap they call country today. I don’t even listen to modern country radio today.
I've never taken the time to listen to Mr. Tritt. After watching this video I realized that I've truly missed out! Great tribute!! I know all of Waylons music, and I never missed a concert when he came to our neck of the woods. I'm now looking forward to exploring the music of Travis Tritt.
I didn’t miss an episode of the Dukes of Hazard and therefore I didn’t miss Waylon’s beautiful voice. I just hope Waylon was a Christian to hear it again. Thanks for honoring him Travis! You’re among the greats too!!
I'm right there with ya Cal !! Wish we could hit that like button time after time. Waylon and Travis are cut from the same cloth .....legend material 👍👌👍
AMEN Brother, I do not like the music of today, I guess I'm ole' school. I love the "classic" country that I grew up on. Travis is keeping the ole' school alive....
NAILED IT TRAVIS!!! Love you your music buddy!! We all miss Waylon. Melts my heart when I hear my 15 year old daughter upstairs blasting Waylon and singing along with him. Makes me feel like my wife and I did a great job raising our kids when I hear them playing and singing along to the legends! Please come back to Minnesota and see us Travis!!
How is he not? Not super in to the country scene but I've been listening to him since the 90s. How is he not in the hall of fame yet??? That's absurd, dude is a legend.
What a beautiful tribute. We love you Travis, Waylon loved you. You’re a remarkable man and thank you thank you for the wonderful songs and the beautiful tribute. God bless you…. You honored him with his songs, beautifully done. ❤️
As someone that has seen an acoustic performance by Travis I honestly think he is one of the greatest acoustic performers of all time. Amazing vocals and amazing guitar picking that fit perfectly together.
Got a free ticket to one of his concerts and only attended cause it was free. Always felt I could take him or leave him. And then during this amped up performance with a full rocking band ol' Travis stops the show, the band leaves and he sits down just him and his 6-string guitar and completely changed my entire outlook and opinion of his music and true talent. I've admired and respected him ever since that acoustic performance. It was truly amazing ❤
Dude!!!!! I swear you channeled Waylon's voice a couple of times here.....I even backed up the video to make sure my ears weren't lying to me! Waylon was a damn legend.....I have so much love and respect for the man and his music. I have loved your music since hearing that very first lick of Country Club.....and had the pleasure if seeing you live in a little dive bar in Lebanon Junction Ky named Labo's soon after you hit it big. Award nominations and wins usually mean higher ticket prices and bigger venues.....but you said you made a commitment to perform and people had already paid their hard earned money for tickets.....other artists, who I won't name (one of them became a bona-fide superstar) backed out of their gig at this same venue because they had bigger and better offers. You showed up......not only played your ass off for your set, but came back for 3 encores. People love you because you put on the same show for the us folks in a lil dive bar as you do for a sold out stadium. Btw......I'm a former radio DJ that did things my own way too and played music people actually wanted to hear and not what the higher ups said I HAD to play. Might be why I don't do it anymore.....lol
Same here. Right when he was blowing up he came to our city fair in Regina Sk 🇨🇦 and kicked ass. I was lucky enough to be front and center and caught a guitar pick from T.T.
