Yugioh logic, Traxos disassembles himself when he taps so you have to reassemble him afterwards by casting a historic dude, so therefore he can disassemble himself to fit through Rogue's passage. Will lose to Magical Labrynth though. Edit: Labrynth has forever ruined how I will spell Labyrinth but I'm not changing it

Vigilance? I just attack and then untap it on my second main phase, as long as I can cast ONE (1) artifact spell when half my library says (0) on the top right, it’ll still be untapped for everyone else’s turn to block

I built a Traxos vehicles deck where the plan is to crew as many vehicles as possible in a single turn with Traxos. Surely he's big enough to crew a boat, an airship, and a car at the same time

@@notapplicable6985 It was a budget weatherlight captain deck. To expand on traxos, it was traxos + banishing knack + 0 cost artifact and I'd either ping on cast or card draw, triskaidekapile, or I'd just go wide with artifacts/sprite dragon.

God Traxos was such a funny colourless commander, especially coming off the back of Hope of Ghirapur. I'd love to see a video on Zabaz, the Glimmerwasp, another artifact commander.

I put it in my Ultra Magnus deck and it is awesome to just throw out at opponents. To answer the question, Traxos has clearly been upgraded with a T-Cog and pulls a G1 Megatron move where it transforms into something impossibly small and back out again.

Funny combo: Send him to school, attach a sorcerers wand to him and make an infinite recursion loop (myr retriever+traweler, or anything similar) for infinite damage from our wizard bigger than hogwarts.
I think Skullbriar is effectively the size of two people each using one sleeve of a single coat so they might have to walk sideways but it shouldn't be an issue
Unwinding Clock.... that is all. Clock of Omens is also rather amusing with cards like Howling Mine, Genesis Chamber, and Blinkmoth Urn. Untap Traxos while depriving everyone else of the theoretically symmetrical draw, colorless mana, and myr tokens. Then they untap on your next turn and you get to do it again.^^

Strangely, its untap mechanic is familiar, but different. I have seen it on Thermo-Alchemist and Gelectrode in response to instants and sorceries as part of spellslinger/burn deck, primarily Rakdos and Izzet.
Yeah, I like to imagine anything like that; built to go tear into Urza's side, and activities, basically HAD to be a silly Artifact, supported by other silly Artifacts.
Artifact commanders are great! Your opponent overloads a vandalblast and you get to choose if you'd like to scoop or absorb your remaining life total of damage from everyone who didn't get sent back to nil, while watching everyone else play. But we still love 'em, and once again request Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch!
I do agree, whole-heartedly with this assessment of traxos. However i do feel the need to bring up the problematic toy bomber Urza made. Urza's Battlethopter needs a roasting of the third degree for enabling flash traxos and eldrazis

By Yugioh rules you could say that as a Construct, Traxos can change its shape so that it can fit through the Rogue's Passage, and also by Yugioh bullshittery that change in shape means it's a 12/2 when it comes out the other side because of its new configuration.

Traxos actually just has super-vigilance in a properly made deck. He's the only Stax deck I've ever built, got to play it twice before the playgroup banned my Staxos Scourge of Fun deck. A well deserved ban frankly.

I remember when I first played Dominaria limited, that card seemed so busted but "so after you cast an eldrazi that kills my mom and shits my pants i can take 7 extra points of damage" compared to other colorless cards, and the easy of artifact removal, it's the rest of the deck i'm not looking forward too. I forgot, i'm an artifact player, and just generally unenthused with Traxos anymore
