I have been searching for an answer to the grinding noise and this so far is the best I have found. Now I know what to atleast look for and check and ask some other hobbyists.
Thank you so much. I actually knew the input shaft was bent but I didn't think it was the actual shaft, I thought my transmission gears got out of alignment.
Thanks, saved me a lot of headache. I knew there was something wrong with my slipper clutch but I could not Track it down. I have the Slash Ultimate 4x4 but just about the same clutch. Put that shaft out after watching your video, and sure enough same thing.
If not sure if top or Kay shaft is bent, put shaft in a good drill chuck and turn it and watch. Drill chuck must be in good condition ( good bearings, no runout)
Question bro. I have the 1/16 mini revo and my spur gear is slightly wobbly now to. Have you ever heard of that. The pin shifting and causing a unbalanced spur. Uno that small pin right. I recently changed over to a 55tooth metal spur from the 50 tooth stock spur. I heard the pin through the middle holding the slipper from spinning may be the problem. But after seeing this video I now know Of 2 possibilities What's ur take on that. Do you think the pin could be the issue I am not sure now. I need more time to investigate. ✌️
Eric Pendi Thanks bro. I found out what my error was. One piece of sand in front of the bearing 😤my dumb. All is good now except my esc died and now I have it sent back. It's under warranty so I'm good. Other than than that all is good. 👊😎
I found what looked like fine metal powder in my 12 turn motor. If it’s metal that’s bad. But I’m not sure if it’s dirt or metal shavings. And yes I tried a magnet and it magnetized. But they could’ve lubricated it with graphite, so I’m confused. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, please help me.
