The tires on the Summit are huge and make the best sound ha ha, they are a pretty soft compound. the only reason they are wobbling so much is because the foams are still wet from me driving it in the water recently. +Dji Leon Like anyone will tell you, a summit will go just about anywhere, Great trucks! Depends on what batteries your running and what type of driving your doing. These take 2 batteries so the run times a pretty long for an RC. I have 2 2s 5000mah batteries and I probably got a god half an hour out of it running it like this. If I go mild trailing and crawling, I would say an hour is achievable (-:

Thanks man, I'm glad you liked the vid. Which one is better really depends what you want to do. The Summit is one of the all time greatest RCs ever made, it can go pretty fast, but can also crawl and drive through every terrain imaginable, you can lock and unlock the diffs from the controller and select high or low speed...Amazing truck! The E-Revo is a high speed vehicle and can do insanely high jumps and backflips and forward flips in the air etc. but high speed bashing is all it can do really, so it's up to you. Tough choice man, good luck (-:

Run time depends on how you run the truck and the type of terrain, so it's hard to say. I haven't run nimh batteries in a car for years. I run this on 2 x 2s 5000mah lipos and I get about a half hour of high gear driving. If using it for crawling it seems to last for hours

Thanks buddy! Any hack on how to fit lipos whose wires comes from top(hard case) since summit battery compartment doesn't allow it to accommodate this kind of lipo setup...any easy hack ?

Faraz Ansari Yeah the best way is to just take off the back vent cover or cut one of the vent fins off and poke the wire through before fitting the battery. I did the same with mine for a while. I will never buy this type of battery again ha ha

Yeah! I think so too however if I remove back cover then one side would be loose since I can't fully close the mechanism which is a part of back cover but I guess you need to do what you need to do hahaha... Thanks brother !

Marcus Woolley Lipo batteries provide much longer run time and provide a lot more power as well. Nimhs are not good batteries, but ok for beginners. Lipo batteries need special balance chargers and can not be run totally flat, you must stop running them at a certain voltage or you will never be able to use them again, so you need to be very careful with them. Only certain cars can run lipo batteries because the ESC knows when the charge is getting low and will cut the power to the car to let you know. You get used to them after a while and then they are just like normal batteries.
