Another great vid 👍 I'd forgotten how closely matched they all were, each of them had their strengths and weaknesses, but all did us proud and surprised us at times.

What's up lads... nice bit of crawling and terrain, nice change up from mostly dry rock hopping on you tube. Love the 6x6, I don't even think traxxas knew how well received it would be.. it has really impressed and performs well for a truck I think most thought would just be a gimmick.. Cheers boys 👍
Why is a replacement body for a ford bronco trx4 more than a defender trx4, but they have the same price when bought with the chassis, is the ford bronco better value????
I love the look of the TRX6...but it just doesn't look right crawling, I saw one at the weekend. It needs big fat street tyres, and some neons underneath. 4K.... 😎👌

It's funny, I ordered the g500 a few days ago and my mate ordered the trx6. I was worried I'd have to swap the wheels and tires out immediately but this video really showed that the stock setup isn't as horrible as I thought. I'll now run them until they need to be replaced!
You know, we thought exactly the same, hated the look of them thinking they’d be no good because they’re too road like... and they are stupidly capable. Extremely deceiving, an all round incredible setup on both merc’s
@@RCunexttuesday Hey thanks for the reply! I'm going to take a gander at the tread pattern and see if I can remove some tread knobs to make them grippier. I also ordered a Hobbywing Axe 550 set and a Power HD 20kg servo as well. Everything arrives tomorrow and I can't wait!

Mega Run,fantastic Trail.6x6 is best and the Defender is better than the TRX4, Challenged my Girlfriends at time,her Freemen 2.0 versus Freemen 2.0,6x6.Really fun all two.
Sold my losi scte 3.0 and tekno 410.3 to get my feet wet into rock crawling.. got both trx6 and trx4 defender..soon ill upgrade the steering servo’s and test out some softer tires.. now going to look for some construction sites to learn this...great vids👍
the 6x is unstoppable. went out with one and there really isn't anything i could do that it couldn't do, and there was plenty it could do that I couldn't (TRX4 21 Bronco on hyraxes vs stock 6x)

Glen haylor tbh I’d struggle to use the defender as rationale not to get one, as they both have their individual strengths and weaknesses. If money doesn’t come into play in any way for you dude I’d say go for it, as Lacos demonstrated with his comment there’s a lot you have to play with and you can make it your own truck again👍🏼
I like the 4x4 that white land rover is sweet looking. J Horizion hobby has arrma 8s a arms. I saw your video when Billy broke it😂 so when i ordered my 8s i ordered extra front and rear a arms. Didnt know if you got parts yet. Im in usa so they are available here. Also amain hobbies has them in stock
Thanks dude, k8 parts still aren’t widely accessible over here and unfortunately places like a main are subject to customs taxes so it costs us a fortune to order from them, which is irritating to say the least because the standard prices for us are hella low lol😭

The tires on the Mercedes 4x4 aren’t great out of the box. I ran one side by side with the TRX bronco and the bronco was able to get places the Benz just couldn’t.
I always expected them to be pretty trash ngl, but they complement the set up of the truck too well, this truck is probably daves most capable and can do things that you really don’t expect it to... holds its up with the 6x6 which imo is one of the most capable boxed crawlers on the market, and easily outperforms its expectations let alone the trucks running alongside it
In mud the Gwagon tyres struggle a bit, but on most other surfaces they do a brilliant job. I ran it on Pro Line flat irons for a while and ended up swapping back to stock, they really perform well.
