Awesome set of videos for this build! Thanks for the many hours you put into this for our benefit! What type of bit are you using with that dremel? Is it a special bit that prevents chipping the lexan? Thank you!

Thanks very much I just use the standard parts the dremel set comes with noting different and test the bits I use on a scap bit of plastic 1st but anything goes through lexan so all good thanks again for checking the videos out

From memory light set from modelsport uk online supplier they are great and any other lights are from Ebay various china suppliers was a while ago tho prob new stuff available now thanks.

nice set! but the wire on the hood looks so bad. I have these on my defender too... After a while changed with thicker wire and roman screw for rc - looks soooo much better! :)

haha thats so true !!! if its for the body just use a hot pin I show how i do that in most of my builds its free just be careful but depends on what you are making a hole in and tbh everyone needs a dremmel in there life great fun haha

Regarding the tiny bolts and nuts, what are those called for model scale work? I keep looking but I can't find anything online and suspect it's my search terms. Any help here would be much appreciated. Your designs are incredible.

@@rcadventurer No actual body parts. I would just like to have a stash of hardware on hand so that if I wanted to add a ladder for example, I'd have the supplied to do it.

@@TheRoadTaken ok that might be more difficult because all of those tiny screws and bolts come with the parts that you buy I get all of my bits from China on eBay so they all come with multiple tiny screws and nuts and bolts more than you need with the parts

Sure thing it was prebuilt into the spotlights came like that from the Ebay seller called Injora they do loads of Rc parts, the back of the spotlights has a switch for several settings to choose from 👍👍👍

Do you "outfit" other bodies, too or is the Defender body your main focus? I like the Blazer body for the TRX4 platform but I have only found 1 person who has accessorizes it; seems most people do with the Defender body (though not nearly as incredible as your builds). Sorry to flood your inbox with questions today.

To be honest its just whatever takes my fancy but after doing a couple of defenders I get so many parts left over I use them for another body as I buy things that dont always go with the build as I change my mind along the way , very annoying tho haha. I have done other bodys on the channel and all the tamiya ones too but did get a bit addicted to the defender but over that now. Hope your Blazer goes well

Thanks for checking it out, the wires for the rock lights just run over the wheel arches ziptied to the body along with the front and rear lights and rear searchlight goes straight down the corner of the body good old zip ties make it neat thankfully😅👍👍
