I run 4s on mine too. I tossed the removable wall out. I plugged my 4s directly into the connector the wall hides out and placed the jumper into the other plug outlet. Provides more space for your plug adapter when your not running Traxxas batteries.

I was most surprised with how responsive the throttle was. Not jumpy at all, but nice and smooth. You can open it slowly and ease into the throttle. You will run it 6s one day, just to say you have(kinda like I'm going to be with the Revo I'm sure).
I feel that with the right upgrades and changes, the udr can be a functional truck. Right now, the udr just squats and leaves a trail of poop behind it. If you upgrade the shocks to higher quality stiffer ones, and remove the two spare tires in the back, that should help. Btw, I burst out laughing when you fast forwarded unscrewing the 4s option part. Lol
EvHexRC 1 haha, I try to make ya smile at the least, so a laugh is great. Yep, you know how it goes, break it, upgrade it...etc. probably going to switch out to 70wt in the rear shock and see how that goes.

My brotha JDPASL told me about ur channel n that u have a UDR also,I love my udr well the one run I got to run it,2nd run friend crashes it,got it on vid though,only good that came from that run! I subbed n will check some of ur vids out

Ya I learned that lesson the hard way,lol I’m actually fixing it right now,also adding my led light bar,I got the erevo rubber boot for the driveshaft,n since I have the rigid model mine didn’t have number plates like the fox but I bought the plates n throwing those on as well,now after that I have a clear body for it n gotta airbrush me a nice paint job only thing that’s good it has a lot of realistate to paint on
It is a blast! Very fun to drive. I actually just sold the UDR to a fri3nd of mine for his son, who wanted it very bad, and I just couldn't say no. I had fun with it and will get another one soon. Thanks for watching.
3:40 seconds in. You just need to focus on the small bumper to release it, then the larger bumper and it will come right off. I been adding Shoe Goo on the inside of my shell to strengthen up the shell in its extremely weak spots. That being the 2 low sides which are extremely thin. The wheel wells where the tires rub up against when landing from a jump and just in front of both rear wheels where the body tends to be weak and break here as well. The Traxxas UDR is not a bash truck, its more a trophy truck and a very well made truck with 2 extra tires and an extra differential. Who else but Traxxas, can make a truck look this good?
I uave a UDR. I'm thinking of making 3 changes. 1. Increase rear shock spring to slightly stiffer 2. Use stiffer dampening oil 3. Upgrade steering servo to a high torque one (for track racing) 4. Be great if someone out there made track tires for this truck. For more bite.

Yep. Little advice..easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Now this only involves wives that are forgiving. And rc related stuff. Lol. Just go Get It. Haha. I did. She got over it. Lol
Nothing wrong with 4s, way more realistic. I’ll run 6s on my udr and use the app to turn throttle end point down to 80% perfect balance of speed and control.
