On it for many years. Went from 450 mg now 150. Bad withdrawls , feel nauseated bad sleep and increased anxiety and mania. I'm 72 been titrating down under dr orders.
Thank you for sharing, my dr gave me this 3 days ago , first night I was back awake after an hour, the effects in the morning dry mouth ect i already have that problem, I was going to still keep on taking it, but my poor 18 year old son gets the brubt of the moods, 2nd night , up again , in the morning headaches dropping things , and I do have heart troubles, I will be back intouch with my dr on Tuesday due to it being a holiday weekend, I was a drug abuser for 3 decades and don't want to be addicted to anything ever again , 3rd night I won't be taking it after reading everyone's comments. Thank you once again.
@@zavinovacka Hi , thank you for asking, I ended up with Pancras, I took the tablets back to the dr , and just making do , I am falling asleep no problem, its staying asleep thats the problem, how are you . 💐🌹
@@pharmacyupdate5626 Bad medication. It makes me gain weight, it didn't solve my depression at all, and now there's the suffering of weaning. Only take it if it's really necessary, because to take it off afterwards, the body feels it (stomach pain, brain zaps, dizziness, chills...)
I had to wean this medication because of weight gain and I couldn't lose weight. I used 150g for 4 months, I was weaned and now I have withdrawal symptoms, it seems that the depression is getting worse, even though I use Zoloft in the morning. To withdraw these medications later, the body is sorry. The curious thing about trazodone is also that I felt my nose blocked shortly after taking
I take 100mg per day. A slight dry mouth early in the day that eases as the day goes on. The great thing besides being able to sleep at night, I have lost 5lbs without dieting.
Possibly increase the risk of a rare thing called serotonin syndrome. But serotonin syndrome is very rare and I honestly wouldn't worry about it too much. Always double check with your doctor
Yes I have very bad nightmares I've actually never had a good dream since I've been taking it for the last 3 years and I sleep way too long on it sometimes 12 hours everything is negative in the dreams I only take it because I have anxiety gag problem when falling asleep and it works I don't take it because I'm not tired I just have this choking at the beginning of falling asleep it's terrible I've had a sleep study they told me my oxygen levels Go real low when I'm sleeping I use oxygen when I go to sleep
Probably not being used for those. The doctor may be giving it to you to help with sleep and the depressive part of your bipolar disorder. Hope this helped!
I had an erection when I woke up and it wouldn't go down for 30 mins to an hour.. nowit makes sense. Sadly there is another side effect that I get everytime i take trazodone, it's the I can't swallow and I choke on my own saliva
I read the side effects and said it can cause weight loss. I have kept to size 10 for 4 months and I eat fast food mostly, don't exercise and sleep well. Guess I'm just lucky. Sorry didn't help you.
