I like the TRD camry because of it's racing look!

I used to have a Charger Scatpack and it was badass. After I put 100,000 miles on it and spent a few thousand on repairs I decided to trade it in with something sporty but a lot more reliable. Enter the 2023 Toyota Camry TRD. It is not ballsistic like the Charger but it has great power and performance at any speed. The key to that performance is the perfect suspension upgrade paired with a great set of brakes and fairly decent Michelin tires. The car is around 3,500 pounds and has a 301 hp V6 engine. It is around 880 pounds lighter than my Scatpack so ends up being an extremely fun expierence when driven in a spirited manner. This car will do a road trip across the entire country with your friends and family with massive trunk space to carry everything you need. The camry TRD will perform like a beast when you need to. However if you decide to kick back and cruise across an entire state with either sunshine or rain in the forecast, the Camry TRD will remain quite and comfortable through it all. Yea I used to have a badass American muscle car but now I have a Camry TRD. This car will make 300,000 miles with ease 😌 and ill be keeping my focus on the journey instead of repair shops! Dad loved Toyotas and had a Camry 20 years ago. Wish he was here to see mine.

If this gets a AWD version I'll go pick one up.

You could tell they weren't impressed, pretty sure they don't really find it to be good as a sporty car, it's a Camry on a slightly more aggressive suspension and Riced out a bit sad to see the TRD badge be used so poorly they could of just called it the sport trim

Toyota, I own the following Highland, FR-S and Matrix. I have kids I was going to buy a Lexus 460 AWD but is was too expensive. I think you are get close to what I am looking for, what I was hoping for was you to Import the Mark X AWD 3.5L as a Camry X, build in Japan like the 86. I would also like you bring back the bolt on supercharger. I only drive a automatic transmission, the only thing on the market for me is the Dodge Charger/Challenger GT V6 AWD, but for now I only buy Toyota. I would like to see similar set up, in the Camry, to your Toyota Highlander 3.5L AWD V6. Thanks

That wasn’t the Camry TRD that was the Avalon TRD. Camry TRD doesn’t have a moonroof not even as an option. Either Toyota made a mistake with the title or they are trying to make people believe the Camry TRD has more features than it does. Or maybe because this was a test car they were considering putting a moonroof and scraped it and only put one in the Avalon. Kind of a strange video if you know anything about the TRD Camry and Avalon.

I have a TRD 2021 and this commercial is so misleading. I recently rented a Kia ev and then a Nissan Altima both with have much less horse power but because they have a much better transmission or torque response are much much quicker off the line and even up hills in the SF Bay Area. Toyota plz be more honest and also upgrade that freakin transmission!

Good looking cars but I lost all interest and faith in the TRD brand after I started seeing every other Tacoma, Tundra, FJ & 4-Runner on the road with TRD badges. All that show and no go-stats on the new TRD Camry & Avalon leaves a lot to be desired! No wonder they had to get in bed with...ughhhh BMW to get the new "supra" off the clay table. As an o.g. Toyota Enthusiast, I'm somewhat disappointed that they just turned the TRD brand into a "pure profit making racket!!" I just wish the excitement of the pre-2007 TRD Toyotas can be reignited. Dropping the Supra, Celica & MR2 models really made Toyotas quite boring. They were the last true knights in that castle. Even the Aussies dropped the TRD brand shortly after that. The Scion brand was just a waste of their resources in my opinion & kind of an insult to the true and faithful Toyota enthusiast community. Good try though! I'm happy that they still make great & reliable cars and being the #1 most valuable automobile brand in the world 3yrs in a row still proves that they build good cars. I'm hoping they will make a run in the right direction and bring back the true knights of the Yota castle. Only time will tell I guess.
