Targets were far and few between but PERSISTENCE pays off for Bill & Christine while beach metal detecting in this 4 hour hunt with the Minelab Manticore and Xterra Pro metal detectors.
Huntington Beach gets a lot of detector activity so our expectations are never high and this trip was no exception. We could go quite a while without a target. At least an our was spent just in the wet without a single target. But, we stuck to it and still managed to score some good finds!

Great Show, Love to watch you guys detect. Just one question .Bill, Why don't you and Christine switch Detectors for one week and see if Christine can find some rings and gold. Unless she doesn't like the Manticore or Equinox. Or both of you use the Equinox. Keep diggn.

I found a chain similar to Christine's yesterday that was stamped 14K Italy. It's turning green. I feel ripped off. 🤣 BTW, the pipe like thing was a piece to connect two pieces of scaffolding together

That’s what I thought that piece was, I just couldn’t think of what it was called. Such a bummer that the chain turned green, it’s a little too late for Saint Patrick’s Day. Ha!

Why do you guys just give those numbers out do you think we actually know what they mean all these brands have different numbers for what they're reading, why don't you say what you think it is based on the number not everybody wants to mindlab I what happened to own a Garrett atpro

I’m sorry you’re having a bad day. We state the numbers because some of the Minelab products, the machines run the same numbers. We also announce the numbers so people who have the same detector as us and may not be familiar with it can learn the numbers. Bill has a pretty good habit of stating what he thinks what the item will be before he recovers the item. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.
