You hear of this faith healing in Christ's time--all the time. But hardly ever, ever in the mormon church in these last days--why are they not following Christ's example to heal by faith? most seem to believe in the arm of flesh, that fails them consistently
It happens more than you realize. I have been healed by Christ a number of times which I don't share with people. It is happening all the time, has it happened for you? My husband is one who was miraculously healed from Covid. Faith is definitely an important factor in receiving healing and miracles.
As a missionary we were asked by a man to give him a blessing for a pain that for sixteen years would not be healed or go away. The following Sunday in a fast and testimony meeting this man stood at the pulpit and proclaimed that since the Elders blessing he hadn't experienced a single minute of pain since. Months later we were again called upon to give a blessing to a young women that had just months to live for cancer was in every organ of her body. The following morning the doctor himself called her and said he could not sleep the previous night and that he needed her to come in for a blood test. He asked her to wait for the results. Upon approaching her with the results he asked, "do you know a God"? "The cancer is leaving your body". She was baptized a couple of month's later, completely healed!
My father and I blessed my 1 year old brother who was sick with a terrible flu, so bad was the pain and discomfort that he squirmed and writhed and nothing could be done to calm or still him. When my father and I laid our hands on his head he immediately stilled, and when we closed the blessing, he climbed down from the couch and immediately began to run and play. The illness had been rebuked in mere seconds.
