Howdy, To pinpoint you say push "pinpoint button" then I see you have removed your thumb, then I think I see you push Pinpoint again...... Can you please clarify the process again ? Thank you.
+jasongap2000 In pinpoint mode you find the the shallowest reading possible and that is where you dig. So move the coil over the target in pinpoint mode, if the pinpoint display says it's 3 inches down and then 1 inch down, you dig where it says the target is 1 inch down. The detector reads a stronger signal the shallower a target is. That's why making an X helps, as the shallowest reading on each axis makes a nice small plug to dig.
