Swing the coil off target and see the change keeping it under trying to cherry 🍒 pick with the tpro always sounds same threw out junke and good finds mine will give u that high beep on good along with junk grunt then 🍒 pick to see if nail or foil next to good target it can get confusing and swing speed does matter but great detector

I do think the MXSport is better for my needs because it is waterproof. Other than that I love both detectors.

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Yes I love this detector. To this day I found one of my best finds with the TreasurePro. Only issue with this detector is that it isn't waterproof. I still love this detector though. It is easy to learn.

Sandy Toes Detecting I agree but the nice thing is just switch to the "coin & jewelry" or "all metal" programs and you get those 14K rings. The "high trash" program works great in high trash areas like parks.

Most detectors will miss certain types of gold if you use too high a setting discrimination. It's the price you pay for ignoring foil unfortunately. High trash mode should only be really used if you're coinshooting.

I just got this and im abit annoyed because the garretts have a very low tone for iron and i feel like that would help me alot i dont really know how to tell the differences in tones..

What do you recommend in the $300 range for a beginner?

Fisher F series, or Minelab Vanquish series. Research both.

How deep can it search?

It depends on the size of the target. I have gotten buttons and coins a foot deep sometimes.

@@captaindicko7823 it depends on the size of the target. There are specialty metal detectors that can find bigger items very deep.
