Treasurer says Future Made in Australia is about ‘enabling private investment’ 

The Future Made in Australia policy has been contested in recent weeks.
Some media headlines refer to it as a return to old protectionism.
In the past month, the government has allocated almost $600 million in loans to two critical minerals projects, and pledged $1 billion in subsidies and grants to domestic solar panel producers.
CEDA Senior Economist Andrew Barker says we haven’t seen “all the details” of the Future Made in Australia strategy yet.
Mr Barker told Sky News Australia that the Treasurer said it is about “enabling private investment”.
