I have fall down twice on my lower back like around 3 years ago, since from then I am having this severe pain in the tailbone area, I tried everything from donut pillow, Sudo therapy, some other pain relief exercises but nothing gave me relief. Today while searching for tailbone pain relief exercises on RU-vid I just came across this video and tried what you shown here. Believe me at first tryout I feel better. I hope continuing it over and over I might be out of the pain completely. Thank you so much for this video 🙏

Omg thank you so so so much!!! I’ve been in severe pain for a year and I noticed a difference immediately doing what you just showed me!!! Ive even been going to the chiropractor and this helped me so much ❤❤❤❤

I am almost 2 months post op from a coccyectomy. In serious pain worse than before surgery. I thought years after the break was bad but it doesn't compare to this. My surgeon keeps saying I'm not healed..but every other person's "good coccyectomy removal" story is so short in terms of recovery time. Also am using a cane due to shakiness in my right leg. Have you ever heard anything like this?? I'm almost to the point I regret having surgery!

Please which doctor do specific injections to remove tailbone pain please? And what types of injections is it nerve block or injections guided or …?? I live in Illinois…

Hello, thanks very much for this video. I have watched many of these and your video has been the most helpful..i fell some 10/11 yrs ago and hit my tailbone and since then,i have lived with the pain especially when sitting...Do I still stand a chance to get healed with these exercises or they just give temporary relief?

Hi Adeola, You absolutely can heal your tailbone pain. These aren't temporary relief exercises, they will restore proper motion of that area and allow you to sit pain-free. You might have to look into how your mobility is throughout the rest of your body in order to balance everything. Check out our hip mobility videos for some more information.

When I do streches it gaves me more pain... Five month ago I fell from bike.. Mam i am 30 now... I am in sitting job.. Please suggest something.. If I take A long leave from job.. If I avoid sitting for 3-4 months continuosly.. Is there any chance to cure it permanent

@@JaiShreeram-tr7cs you might need to get a dynamic tailbone sit stand x ray to see what the problem is. I've been having pain for a year. Dr Syeda Mubashira in bangalore India was internally able to manipulate the bone to fix the problem mostly. It's a long journey. Hope this helps.

Hey Doc, I’ve been having this pain since two years now. I get this immense pain in the upper butt area inside the butt cleft, while getting up from a sitting position. At times there is tenderness too. Unable to understand if it’s the bone, muscle or nerves. I am completely okay while standing and working out but sitting kills! Please advice.

This sounds like tailbone pain. Try these techniques in this video on a consistent basis to see if they minimize the pain over the next few weeks. If you are still having the same problems, check out our hip mobility videos and see if you have limitations in other areas of your spine or your hips that you can work on.

Have been suffering from tailbone from almost 5months now. I had this injury while I was sliding on the steps rail for fun and got the hit. Consulted 3 doctors but they suggested to use coccyx pillow and gave pain killers. It's only giving me relief when I use the pain killers and steroids. But i still have the pain when iam off the meds. What do you suggest get rid of this. Edit Update: I was suggested to take steroid injection at the tailbone, it gave me good relief for 3-4 weeks, however doctor suggested to use coccyx pillow regularly and do physical exercises. I joined gym for a change and i see lot of improvement. I don’t have pain unless i press intentionally at the tail bone, though its not much painful. It doesn’t bother me anymore with my daily routine. I am able to lift weights in the gym. I am able to sit without cushion as well

Hi Sunil, Try these techniques consistently for a month to see if you can reduce your pain. You might have to consult a physical therapist to get more individualized help so you can recover.

@@rhythmdua999 steroid result was temporary, mostly physical exercise helped me to get rid of the pain. Like situps, squats etc, any exercise which engages your lower body will definitely help

I recently started riding a road bike, and after a month, my tailbone started hurting. I tried various stretching exercise for the area, and it seemed to make it worse. I found this video, did the one finger and the clawed hand manipulations, and felt a little movement on the tailbone. I rode my bike this morning for 20 miles, and no pain! My question is: Are the techniques in the video a one time application, or done on a daily basis, or as needed?

Hi Andy, Glad you found the video helpful. These techniques can be used as needed for pain. You might want to do multiple times a week in the beginning to get more movement of the area, but then can taper down. The other thing to look at is how you're sitting on your road bike and how the other parts of your spine move so you can avoid having pain in the future. Check out our mobility videos to help with that.

I sat for a long time one day and I woke up with the worst tailbone pain and it’s been two days and no pain medicine works and I can’t sleep I tried the pillows I tried different ways I don’t know what to do if I try these exercises it hurts when I touch my tailbone. But I didn’t have any injury all I can think of is a set on the floor a lot one day anyway ideas?

Hi Sasha, If these exercises are too intense to start, try to do our low back mobility video first. Then slowly come back to this video and do the release of muscles on either side of your tailbone instead of touching it. Slowly, as you improve bloodflow and movement to the area, it will heal.

Since going on ‘statin drugs I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass ~ including in my ‘ butt muscle ‘ 🙂 So now I don’t have any natural cushion and am sitting on my tailbone.

Hi Hakeem, This shooting pain could be coming from a range of different things, check out our mobility videos and see if you have limited hip mobility on that side. You also might need a physical therapy consult to determine what is going on.

I fall on tailbone and because of that its bent to left side(found out through x-ray), its been months, not much pain now but it acts up if I sit on hard surface and lean backwards(while leaning backwards ground touches my bone and it hurts like hell ). So, Is it possible to align the tailbone back to its original position by doing these exercises and stretches?

Can this be done in cases of anal fissure and tailbone displacement? Because when I attempt exercises to relieve tail bone pain, it causes irritation around anus and results in cracks in the skin.
