I'm a farm girl and nurse. First very impressed with that half circle gate. Very cool. Thank you sir for being a farmer and feeding all of us, you work very hard without vacations. Thank you. Black Angus are some of the most stubborn cows there are. I needed a heart valve replacement and they gave me a cow valve. Told them I wanted a black Angus one just for that reason. Praise God for all blessings

I have so much appreciation for you actually taking care of your animals. We used to live next to a farmer, who didn't care for his animals like he should have. Yes, he was losing money. But, at the same time he was neglecting them. It was so heartbreaking. My father in-law bought his animals from him, and they're doing so much better.

Growing up in the 1970's, i always had a respect for farmers but as i got older, that respect grew tremendously! This was warranted as i grew to have so much knowledge more about all of what they do for their animals. I think 99% of all farmers are amazing people to say the least! They have to be! Good job Tyler!!

@@updownstate So true. It is super long days and harder word than most people would ever know. They think its just walking around doing different things when in fact, its chasing the pigs and getting them back in the pen. Its baily hay and lifting those bails when you have already put in 8-10 hours that day. Then, you have to go home and do what you need to keep your life moving, such as laundry, dinner and children as well as the shopping and parent teacher conferences. Like i said...most people have no idea what it all entails....and yes, falling asleep in your dinner plate is a known side effect...lol

This happens to outdoor cats, sometimes, too. The skin heals over the infection, then that all builds up underneath and eventually blows out. Sometimes you have to stitch it up with a stent so it keeps draining, instead of healing over and rupturing again. It's nasty, lol. You see a blow out for the first time and you think they cat is going to die from it, but as long as you clean them up, maybe give them some antibiotics, it heals. I guess I'm a cat-herder.
@coolgirlfrozenfeet

My ragdoll cat has had a few abscesses, and I’m grateful I knew what to do to clean them up and get them to heal. She was so good for me, too. I must have saved a ton of money by doing it myself instead of taking her to the vet. A different cat we had years and years ago had an infection in her uterus, and that’s was pretty gross. We got her spayed and she was fine.

You sound just like me! I loved the farm, we had workers all the time, people in and out. All my siblings were home, mealtimes were nuts because you never knew how many or who might show up at your table. We fed anybody within an arm’s reach if they were hungry. I can’t remember not having chores, but they sure didn’t seem like chores. And I learned more stuff then than any kid does now, like respect, pride, work ethic, love, empathy…kids don’t always know these things anymore.

I’m 78 and grew up on and around farms. It’s to the farmers best interest to be good to their animals as that is both money and also mistreated animals can be dangerous. I only know of one man that was abusive and he was elderly, and was turned in to state boys for it. They made sure he couldn’t have ANY animals after that.

99.9% OF FARMERS CARE. ITS THEIR ENTIRE LIVELIHOOD!!! You wake up before the sun, sun down feeding & middle of the night sitting up with sick animals. The food industry that processes are the people who don't care. We raise rabbits for meat, baby all of them, give them treats, he'll I have sat up at 2 am giving a stuffy momma a breathing treatment. Most farmers do what they do out of pure love of the animal. We became farmers so the ONLY bad day our animals have is slaughter day... and they never even knew what happened.
