I just want the interviewer to know she did a fantastic job. It might seem trite, but really she was able to get info from the guest-provide personal examples-keep the audience engaged and idk just thought she did great

Oh screw off! My autism has made me unable to form any long lasting friendships because I just *cannot* understand and connect with other people. I constantlu feel like an outcast, like an alien trying to fit in amongst humans. Its so incredibly frustrating to struggle immensly with just talking yo people. Just because Autism may not negatively affect you that much doesn't mean that it isn't something that people don't struggle with.
haha yes I think it might be. or not the way you mean, but perhaps all conditions in the DSM point to neurodivergencies that each person may have elements of. Not necessarily the whole disorder.
I havee had many as well... But inmyyfaithsI have been ablee overcomee most of them. most are a matter of consistency also cause they do come back ifIi don't follow the rules right. I had BPD, paranoia, PTSD, Yannick attacks, delusional persecutory, feli deux sometimes of two, cluster 4, schizoaffective, hallucinations mainly tactile ones, and a few other ones but I haveovercomee most of it and I think all of them but I do become a bit autistic sometimes, or ADHD and OCD... sometimes

Fun fact:when your autistic, it also affects your personality, so if you wanna be less of yourself, go ahead search for a cure, BUT, most of the autistic community probably actually doesn’t WANT 1, you can want one if ya want, just dont get me involved😆 Edit:Ive seen the bad side of autism, and I HATE IT, but theres pros and cons, not just cons

@@pitedapollo6175 curing peoples autism would be a dreadful mistake. Autistic people are the reason why people can go into space and the reason why WWll was won, and lots more. Autism being cured is terrible, and the so-called ‘cured’ are actually just torture on the child. As someone who has autism, I am outraged at statements like this
@@clevercode30 autism does have a lot of strengths; there are a lot of amazing things that would never have happened without autistic people. Actually… I don’t really need to talk to people, I don’t feel that need most people do
Why ON EARTH would you talk to psychiatrist about autism? Psychiatrists are the WORST “experts” to talk to. You have to talk to a FUNCTIONAL MEDICAL DOCTOR.
Wonting to xure autism is like wonting to cure gay people, bowth are coused by incorect brain wireing, and its sicening to tell people a part of there personality is a disability

Lol I call bullshit! I am autistic and have ADHD. I am currently studying cybersecurity, psychology and electrical maintenance. I also worked for many years. I’m currently looking for my next full time career/job. Being autistic helps me in endeavors that interest me, especially at work. The only ppl causing harm are ignorant assholes who want to eliminate autism for no reason.

@@AURESHION don’t force your opinion on others. yes if a “correction/change” existed it would be objectively better and that’s the truth. it would save a lot of lives for a lot of people who would want it. not wanting this to exist is forcing your opinion on others that want it
@@pinkpinkpink7717 Get over yourself please. You're forcing autistics to change by claiming that our way of being is somehow wrong. If you told the same thing to an Asian or black person it would be considered racism. I'm simply talking about the vast majority of autistic people because I know that we pretty much all agree on this. and sadly most that don't, do so because they've been told by neurotypicals that they are somehow worth less than others.
First of all, it is better to have it under control. Medications, first of all I dont trust a Guy, who choose to call it Desease. Second, Medications might just supress it. He also described it as abnormal. Autism isnt abnormal, its a extreme expression of totaly normal Feelings. The Idea of curing it, can also lead in more discrimination, and isolation.
@@AURESHIONpeople who want the “cure” or change should be changed. people who don’t l, don’t have to. simple. don’t force your opinion on those who want the change.
@@pinkpinkpink7717 you know what also isn't helpful? Telling an entire group of people that their way of thinking is broken. And that they are "wrong" It's people like you that cause autistic people to even feel the need to change. When they are perfectly fine. Its your hostile world and refusal to accept anything different from yourself that caused autism to be deemed as bad If we flipped the story around and the autistic way of thinking was the majority. Telling you that your way of life is wrong. And that you should force yourself to be someone you're not. you'd be rightfully outraged. You have no right to argue what kind of suffering we just have to suck up whilst putting in zero effort yourself to approach us midway. Oh, and also there's the fact that autism can never, and therefore will never be cured. You can't fix something that isn't broken.
