Look, I always used advantage II for cats on a monthly basis. Just make sure you use the correct by weight box. This product kills flea eggs and larvae preventing future cycles so nothing else needs to be done. I had 30 rabbits and they all got this treatment
Ive been attempting to clean like a mad dog for weeks after my mama lionhead and her 3 babies somehow got fleas from my sons outside cat sneaking indoors. Im about to lose my mind fighting these fleas. My senior dog also has them now evwn after baths. The neurotoxins from most treatments cause severe reactions in me having lyme disease for 15 yrs. I know they are to harsh for these pets so im scared to use advantage. I wonder if advantage for kittens is safer?
It was simply because of the set up and the cages I had at the time. Plus they used to be meat rabbits and they didn’t understand the bowls for a while.
My rabbit won't drink from a bowl. I just got her from someone else and she came with her water bottle 🤔 she drinks fine from it. Why do they have to have a bowl? I tried a bowl when she's on my floor during the day and she grabs it with her mouth spilling it. So I just leave a bottle in her day kennel and she hops in it to drink
Do you think it’s safe to let them around the room even when they still have fleas. After I’ve given them the flea medicine like exactly after I give it to them or should I wait a couple days
Hi Carlos, get baby oil or olive oil from your kitchen and put a drop in each bunnies ears. The oil suffocates the mites and do this daily for 2 week and it should clear up.
I have Holland Lops and I only use Advantage, not Advantage II. It works great and is over the counter. Get the one for small cats or kittens. I don't use the whole tube, just about a third of it. Works really well! ❤
I have some advantage 2 same brand and everything however it's the small cat one for 5-9 pounds. My bunny is about 2 years old and he is about 4 pounds. Should I use just half of the treatment? It says online that some bunnies are sensitive to the pyriproxyfen. How much does your bunny weigh and how much did you use??
@@biologicalstuff okay. I will have to find like a online vet maybe. The vets where I live don't accept rabbits. They told me it's considered an "exotic" animal.... Which makes no sense to me butt....yeah I have a lion head and he's gotten chubby since I've had him but I wouldn't say he's 5 pounds. I got him from a local sanctuary and the woman didn't really know much about his past. He was just dropped off there. He was extremely timid and didn't trust anyone. I'm positive he was abused as he only has half his nose and the other half is scarred over....but It's been about 7 months now and he has opened up a lot although he still has his moments. I just noticed though he somehow got fleas and they are driving him nuts lately. They aren't too bad, I brush him daily with a flea comb and I have diatomaceous earth and I've been doing the apple cider vinegar treatment as well. It's just hard to apply it on his belly cause he's so skittish. I will figure this out though. Thank you for the video which let me know about the apple cider vinegar treatment! Everything helps right now.!
@@raylassiter6582 yes! I would keep him in a mostly cold environmental like an air conditoned room because fleas get can bad in humid/hot/dark environments
