Treatment for Extreme Nose Bleeds 

I had a nosebleed last year, 2 months after turbinate surgery. Lost 2-3L of blood. Was the scariest moment of my life. The medics put me on a drip and then spent the night in the hospital on antibiotics, saline, and tranexamic acid. Was on the tranexamic for 2 months after that. So grateful for modern medicine. Also grateful for the fact that I didn’t have to go back under. People laugh when I say a nosebleed almost killed me but bleeding out through your face is no joke!

Hi Dr Lefler..I have very extreme nosebleeds that lasts 2-3 hours sometimes. I am on eliquis for afib condition and investigating the watchman procedure. We live near Cleveland Ohio. Do you have a referral in Cleveland Clinic?
