Er du sikker på det ikke kan forkortes? Jeg har deres Hoppvals plissegardiner og de står også i Ikeas beskrivelser angivet som om at de ikke kunne forkortes. Men så længe man kun havde behov for at korte op til 10cm af, var det nemt nok. Hvis motoren i højre side af Tredansen kan løsnes, så kan den måske flyttes længere til venstre på skinnen så der er mulighed for at korte lidt af?
I have installed 4 now, and I am evaluating them now, to decide if I want to keep them. As I understand it is fairly easy to shorten them up to 4 cm. It is also possible to shorten them more, but harder.
There are 2 layers of fabric. So there is some insulation properties. One of my windows are foggy in the morning, because it is now colder between the windows and the curtain.
Hi, thanks for asking. I have both a gateway and a Dirigera in the basemen. The gateway is used for all my current lightning, and does not influence this test. I this setup I connected the TREDANSEN to my Dirigera, and it worked even with the signal repeater. Which is impressive. I did however work better when I connect the repeater to the Dirigera. Any TRÅDFRI lightbulb connected to the same will Dirigera/gateway will work as a repeater. The TREDANSEN can also working without any Dirigera/gateway. Just use the pairing button on the remote to pair it directly to the TREDANSEN.
I just watch the video again. I incorrectly referee to the Dirigera as the "gateway" sometimes. The correct term would had been "hub". The Dirigera works very different than the original gateway. I should make a video about that, so people can understand the difference. I short: the Dirigera hub is easier to use, and more flexibly. But is less reliable, and (slightly) slower to respond.

The string inside got stunk, and broke when I used force. I returned it to IKEA, and go my money back. I replaced it with a manual IKEA blind that looks almost identical. The 3 other blinds worked terrible with the old gateway, but fine on the new hub. It got fixed in an update 2 months ago, and now they also works fine on the gateway. So this is a great solution for hard to access blinds. But not a good solution for a door you need to open often, because it is too slow, and there is more wear and tear on it. IKEA Denmark have been very flexible with their return policy. They have never deny any of my returns. Including the full refund of my IKEA FYRTUR, that I had unused for 3 years.
Many do not like that the video is in landscape, is too close, shakes and is very long. But that is okay. This style of video is not for everyone. The video records my real first experience with the blinds and the new gateway. It is all done in the first take, without any cuts.
