Very impressive video. The brush mulcher really showed it has no limits in this video with the trees it encountered. With the Mini Clip you could easily clean out a fence row and pull the brush out to where the brush mulcher could get to it. I think I need to drive by and see the results. Happy Fathers Day Tim. That is one awesome attachment! You do an excellent job showing what it can do on different size tractors. I bet this would be good for those here in Georgia that have peach / pecan orchards,pine tree farms, that it could mulch up their brush and branches from pruning or under brush on the pine tree farms.

Good stuff Mr. I have been doing it the hard way with a chain saw and slowly burning small piles it's taken me years 😟. I hired a dozer and I have worked equally as hard trying to get rid of the dozer pile. I would have preferred to do it this way by far Tim! Great video

Great tool. I would be concerned with stubbing tires. I ran a really nice Brown heavy duty 6 foot cutter that would take down 3" material and going in one direction only had pretty good success with tires not getting stubbed. I said pretty good. Had to put on aircraft front tires from Gensco and eliminated the front tire issues. Still had issues with the rears. Only run tubeless tires and keep tire plugs when brush hogging. Even being careful you will still get flats. I wouldn't touch anything this dense due to tire concerns. Thanks for the video Tim. Great job again.

I can tell from the height of them relative to the trsctors there is no easy you'd chew them them up with a bushhog unless you had a huge beast one of and a beast of a tractor to push them down. I have taken down single or two trees around 2 or 3" in diameter and same height by backing into them with a flail mower with hammers before... But it is slower, really works the flail mower, and would never handle that mass you are going into. Impressive machine!

That is an awesome tool Tim I have bunch of tree limbs and such that this tool could chew up into mulch vs burning it all, but I really don't have or need a tractor quite that big.

Like your videos, of course AHW had to get you a new 1025, they couldn't stand seeing you working johnny, and having all those Good Works Tractor stickers on it. I've been watching at least a couple of years now, and would say that your original instincts for a second tractor seem to be about right. I know you have the 50 series and the 2038 provided by AHW, but if you were buying a second tractor on your own dime, I believe the 3046 would be a perfect compliment to the 1025.

Baumalight makes the brush mulcher in a hydraulic skid steer version which coupled with the power pack even on a 2038R would be amazing. I like the dampening of the hydraulic brush mower (and moving forward) and to have those features in the brush mulcher would be incredibly useful.

Individually a lot of those trees are fairly small but the density effectively increases their size quite a bit.

I have just got done after a few days with a Woods B72X Brush Bull, and a Brush Brute, on a piece of land of mine that had over grown with Alders. Thought I had it made with them 2 pieces of equipment. WOW If I had of had that would have made it go so much better and faster. With the Brush Brute for the larger ones on the loader and the Woods on the PTO for the smaller, I ended up with very large piles of alders, sods ect. Of coarse with my antique, open station 1967 David Brown 990 Selectamatic in 90 plus degree heat with hot sun, made the event sooo much more enjoyable. That Brush Mulcher would do the job of several other pieces, you could eliminate the Hog, stump grinder, and my brush brute, and who knows what else it could replace..

4066r is a bit too large for this mulcher. It is rated 45 PTO hp max.

MAANNNNN..... I took down 5 bradford pear trees.... boy I would have LOVED to have had this setup. It would have took me about two days.....rather than about year. GREAT VIDEO COOL MACHINES!!!!!!

I did clear some land like the smaller brush you chipped with a bush hog and tooth bucket but it was aloooot slower and not near as fun and there are still piles to burn.

You have some great toys Tim. I bet the property owners are very happy. The chipper/stump grinder/roto tiller is one impressive machine. Do you have any worries about the glass in the cab or just the bottom of the tractor hydraulics and filters and such. Looking forward to seeing how big blue does. Thanks for sharing brother 👍

God bless you Guys. Thanks for sharing. I’m getting ready to clear my land and this is a great help for my layout. I have more young trees and brush and this set up would be efficient to clear my land down to the soil. My property is in wilder mountain Tennessee and I’m looking to rent something like this? Any suggestions, company that can deliver a unit as such?

John Deere should offer a hydrostat compact tractor with the tracks like the 8XXXR series has now, or a no flat option, really I would like to see an option like that on all tractor sizes. I would like to try one of those on my 80hp, but I've already cleaned up everything I would have needed it on with a dozer, chainsaw and shredder. Another enjoyable episode, now I'm itching to see the New Holland, I've operated more old Fords than any other brand and really can't complain about them to much, they were as well made as any tractor back then and maybe better in some ways (their hydraulic hookups for one thing were really nice).

Yeah the Brown cutters will do some work in a hurry. The biggest issue I have found is they are good a leaving 4-6" sharpened stobs on the ground which disagree with tractor tires.

The mulched would be much easier to use if you had a tractor was equipped with a front PTO and three point hitch. You can’t work all day when you’re twisted around trying to look backwards. If you had a front end setup you could work all day. I realize the front end setup is an added expense, but if you’re clearing land for a living then the expense could be justified and a business expense for tax purposes.

I have a bush hog that would mow that, Land pride RCF 3696, it has 210hp gearboxes on it and is rated to cut 3" but you would need about a 100hp cab tractor with skid plates. I have an open station tractor without skid plates and I don't think I would be to crazy about trying that without a cab and some skid plates for protection. Being how it is a 3pt mower I could raise it up some and back into it and get it taken care of though.

What is the PTO shaft length from the 4052R to the MP348? I bought one and am looking to validate my measurement? The shaft that was delivered was very long and needs to be cut down? What is the collapsed length?

Hey Tim this is Randy I’ve been watching all episodes and everything else and all and you have a big tractor there to why couldn’t you use that brush mulcher on your tractor you got a big tractor on one of your episodes or something like that that would be very good rather boring that 4052 are whatever it was I can’t remember but what it was when you had that thing then you didn’t show any episode about that about that loader out of the brush hog in the front on the bucket like where you would put your bucket and everything and you know I forgot to kind of do one episode you should do the other episode right back because I wanted to see what that animal could do to you have some very interesting things I know what you do with Sometimes you need to bring bring the bigger tractor in the operation rather everything on Johnny because it looks like it’s got a little more horsepower and everything else you know well this is Randy out now and I thought I throw this comment into you and everything else you know
