Suggestion: Carry a few sheets of thick plywood, I put them up against windows, . fences etc.....when You absolutely must fell or trim in a tight spot 😊

If you can do it without a rope, do it without a rope. Sometimes a rope adds unnecessary risk, especially if it requires climbing to set the rope.
