Best thing about PRS style vibrato bars is that they stay in position!

The jury is NOT out … they are vibrato bars. Tremolo is fluctuations in volume, not pitch.

My favorite trick is one I learned from a Satriani transcription: sliding up on a note, probably on the G string, and depressing the arm to neutralize the ascending slide and keep the pitch the same as it began. Makes the note seem like a big, fat dewdrop sliding down a blade of grass, about to explode any instant.

VIBRATO !!! 😖 Tremolo is a modulation of volume . Vibrato is a modulation of pitch!

I've been playing for 48 years. I bought a new 2022 Core 10 top custom 24 piezo from John Mann's Guitar Vault a month ago for $5470. It sounds amazing in the low-gain sounds, but it lacks deep low high-gain sound. (It Doesn't Chug) I hate the trem as it does not stay in tune when used, so I unfortunately decided to totally block it and use it as a hardtail guitar. It plays & feels alot like a gibson les paul, but sounds more angelic. I'm going to keep it, but I don't think I'm going to buy another one any time soon, especially for the money.
