I don't wear turtlenecks because they drive me nuts, and it's too warm here. But all of your suggestions work just about as well with a long-sleeved tee shirt or a crew neck sweater. Love your videos.

Major applause for all the layers and turtlenecks modeling in this heatwave! I love the idea to extend the summer tanks with layering under them! I always put a cardigan over but it covers up some of the cuter backs!

Similar vibe, but lately I've been layering my striped, fitted turtlenecks underneath hoodies, and pushing up just the hoodie sleeves to give a balloon sleeve silhouette plus the pop of stripes at the wrist. It looks cool with jeans but I think it looks REALLY cool with a fitted skirt.

My go to turtle neck looks are wearing tub tops over them, an off the shoulder shirt over them, a t-shirt over them, a shawl over them, or matching pair of pants (with a different colored belt). There are so many more possibilities to try though! Also with overalls, I've been loving not putting up the top part and putting a belt on my waist so it doesn't fall off. So then it looks like I'm just wearing stylized pants.

okay so this is a trend that has existed for many years, but it deserves a quick mention: I love simple turtlenecks layered under lingerie pieces. You know, the ones that are seethrough, maybe with intricate lace patterns... The best turtlenecks for these outfits are the black ones, in my opinion. It really allows the beauty of the piece over them to shine and you get to show off your sexy buys without feeling exposed to the entire world!
I'm a late turtleneck adopter but I love wearing tight turtlenecks with a baggy short sleeve top. I like the shape it creates from the contrasting sleeve widths juxtaposed with each other. It helps me dress up a graphic tee for a work outfit (though I work in a more creative environment) and gives extra life to a loose button up. I tend to wear loose bottoms with them, untucked for a more laid back fit or tucked to create a more dynamic shape, to further emphasize the contrast between the two tops.
The second and fifth outfits are so great! The color palette and the accessories just scream cozy fall)) I actually really like to layer a thin turtleneck under pretty much anything)) especially under summer dresses, button ups and hoodies)

My favourite fall turtleneck recipe is definitely a striped turtleneck with a basic summer dress! Or maybe cargo pants and a graphic tee... can't decide!
