Two juveniles recently filmed themselves breaking into the construction site for the new Intuit Dome in Inglewood and causing damage inside the arena. MORE: abc7.com/inglewood-intuit-dom...
Media is about 5 main stories. 1) smash and grabs/retail theft 2) street takeovers/teen social media nuisance 3) cost of housing 4) homelessness and drug addicts 5) why Democrats are so incompetent yet people keep voting for them.
It's still a crime! Every crime is serious. It's criminal, destructive, and ridiculous. These kids need to be taught a lesson so they don't continue this type of behavior. @@Goodguy1ful
@@Thunderbyrd. It wasn't destructive and every crime is not serious ... and they're not an indication that these kids are going to continue this type of behavior any more than the teens and college frat kids who pull pranks and engage in activities like this
@@1990758 Even if they were prosecuted as adults it would likely just be a trespassing charge which is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine .. basically what most of the Jan 6 crown got
This is what happens when criminals know there will be little to no consequences for their actions. The people of California are more concerned about pronouns than they are keeping people safe.
@@805fillmore Way to downplay crime. This type of behavior clearly leads to worst behavior in the future. People with your mentality enables bad behavior.
Way to downplay ability and skill. This type of activity is gymnastics. With practice and training Olympic material. People with your mentality do not know how to cultivate talent when you see it.@@bxi1547
The owner needs to beef up after-hours security at this place before someone breaks in and has an accident and injures him/herself seriously, dies, or causes major damage to the facility.
We need to build two mega jails. One for NorCal and one for SoCal. Make it that people understand that if you break laws, you actually get punished. There’s zero fear in people nowadays, that’s why there’s so much lawlessness.
San Francisco alone pumps 700-800 million annually to these social welfare programs. You think California can’t afford a prison? The state can pump billions into a high speed rail that has taken a decade to lay down a few miles of track, but zero money for a prison. Yeah..okay.
"A moment of TikTok greatness, followed by a little bit of misery, and so, we don't play around with these things." Judge: I hereby sentence you to MySpace and Lights off at Midnight for 7 days in a row (unless with valid excuse).
Nope actually the opposite the California prisons were at 180 % capacity and the SUPREME COURT ordered CA to bring it down to 130% because it violated the constitution. Your choice who do you want to in prison? Rapists, violent criminals, murderers, child molesters or trespassers. It’s best to be informed
Congratulations California, you’ve voted yourselves into chaos. Decriminalizing everything, defunding the police, eliminating bail requirements and minimum sentencing guidelines is really compassionate. You should be proud of your accomplishments, I know that criminals love you for it.
These young ✊🏿 men desperately need some parenting... At this point make the parents pay for the damages. They need to learn to how control their offsprings
At least the mayor has decided they need a good talking to. They won't go to jail. Who's going to occupy the seats in the public schools? No jail time, just a nice conversation with the mayor is all that's needed. I'm sure that the Clippers would agree.
“Multibillion dollar stadiums hire security that somehow always manage to be on break when someone sneaks in” definitely sounds like a security problem to me 🤷♂️
I remember as a teenager my friends and I would check out local construction sites. We would fool around but never fuck shit up though. It was more curiosity born out bordem. This seems malicious.
If you are doing this for social Media, the Punishment should be 10 times as hard or close to life in Prison…as it influences and encourages others to do the same.
I guess these criminals can use the money they get from their stunts, they can pay back the city for all of the hours of time used to investigate and prosecute them.
"they're going to have a talking to" Ohhh, so scary. How about charge them as adults if they're 16 or 17, or if they have shown to repeatedly do this and are older than 13. How about hold them in jail for like 10 - 30 days so they know not to do it again?
That’s the problem right there…their parents will be talked to. 🤔 wild guess on my part I’m going to say at least 2 of the 3 kids don’t have a father in the house & the moms are on public assistance for everything possible so the city won’t recover any money for damages. My father would have beat my ass if I did that. WTF! Glad I got the F out of SoCal almost twenty years ago.
It doesn't help matters any when the news decides to make these stupid kids famous and show their damn videos. I certainly hope that law enforcement has the ability to have these videos taken down and the individuals banned from the platform
I'll never understand what goes through the mind of today's youth. They are truly lost. Hope it was worth it now you're going to jail and you proved nothing.
Im all for as Free as possible internet videos, etc. This Tik Tok thing. But I could support holding these dites financially responsible for these damages if they allow such criminal activity videos go on line.
