Interestingly that attitude is shared by man successful performers and athletes. I once saw an interview where Mike Tyson was asked if he is scared before a fight. Tyson replied, every time and the day I don't is the day I stop fighting. ❤️

"If your not scared it's not worth doing" - I couldn't disagree more. That approach may well suit some people but for many of us being scared causes so much anxiety that the negatives far outweigh the positives. I once had this described to me in these terms "for every person who goes out to face the lion, there needs to be someone waiting to bandage their wounds!" However, I do agree that Noah is one of the good people.

This man is the total package. He is handsome, smart, ambitious, humble, hilarious, genuine, and so much more. His ability to be level with us on the seriousness of current issue but also help us escape the negativity of it all, with endless laughter. All the while using it as an educational tool. People who follow comedians tend to know more about current events than those who do not. I feel like he can have meaningful conversation with anyone from either end of the spectrum. What a talent!

He has always had such class, as he is as well as beyond his years. I am just blown away by the first thing he talked about. She was ready to get The T about Will Smith and he just immediately saw what she wanted and how she was trying to get it and he BEAUTIFULLY both answered and DELETED her request AAAND immediately brought the conversation back to himself. In 4 seconds and like 15 words or less he just EXPERTLY saw her planned play, ID'ed it, classfully acknowledged it, answered it, didn't feed into the request for gossip, redirected her, gently showed her that 'no, I'd rather not talk about people like that and I am sure you don't want to either', wove the conversation to include Will Smith in the answer, panned out to 'we're all human', and asserted himself as the subject of interest... He either needs to play sports, take up politics, or train dogs, because that's some professional and genius intuition. Remarkable. There's no limit for this man.

I felt the same way when Jon left. But Trevor came in and proved it can be done. Hopefully the legacy continues with someone new who can do their own thing. Trevor had such a unique way of looking at some things. Like when Kanye was threatening Kim, and everyone was treating it like gossip. Trevor made me think very differently about the whole situation. He will be missed.

Trevor Noah, It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave. Most times it amazes me greatly how I moved from an average lifestyle to earning over $63k per month, Utter shock is the word. Trevor was an excellent host. Maybe not on the same level as Jon Stewart, but excellent in his own right. I'm excited to see what Trevor does next, and to see who takes over for him at the desk.

But, as a multi-talented person, any new thing you're engaging into after leaving the daily show, you'll do great and much more. Just stay as authentic as you are.
