The Beacon Jams kept me and I’m sure many others sane during the crazy height of the pandemic. Every Friday brought me solace as I knew I had Trey to lean on, to make things not feel so desolate. I caught every week of these, and for me this performance is not only the clear highlight of the entire run, but a clear highlight on trey’s entire career. This version of What’s The Use is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard, and for me it showcases the immense skill and dedication to music that Trey carries in his heart. No one musician did as much for their fans during COVID as Trey did, and for that I am grateful. Can’t wait for this release.
