I do not own any of these clips in this video. It all belongs to the NFL, Fox, CBS, NBC, and ESPN. This is just for entertainment purposes only. Thanks.
He has a cannon, speed, agility, moved well, and stayed in the pocket, avoided rush. What am I not seeing? He just needs to play, needs reps. Maybe Jerry just struck gold.....
As a niner fan, I always kind of felt bad for Trey, I mean on one hand I’m happy we found Brock cause he lead us to the Super Bowl and all, but for treys perspective, he didn’t even get his second chance bc he was replaced by Brock, hopefully he finds a home in dallas
I’m flabbergasted that some fans are really trying to pull the plug on Trey after an injury. Dude is straight gifted. And he’s still only 22 years old.
I just think we have a much better example of Purdy being good. I "hope" Lance is good, and he seems like a nice kid, but Purdy has actually been there, and the vets feed off that. Also, I know we gave a lot for Lance, but Purdy deserves to be starter, Jimmy is gone. Also in Lance's defense, he played in a goddamn hurricane in that Bears game, no QB would play well in that game, and then he got hurt. But if you ask me, if the 49ers have more trade leverage with one or the other, it would be Purdy. Some horny team could ask about Purdy, but those QB horny teams are picking in the draft soon, so they'll probably at least get a 3 year fill for a minute.
@@blitzkrieg634 he's the best QB Vikings have ever had besides Favre. You wanna go back to the Christian Ponder days? Maybe you don't even know about him. You'd have to not, to say Cousins isn't good
the lance hate is ridiculous. I have no doubt he will have some struggles early on but with the proper patience and development he will thrive. Quest for 6 baby
People are too caught in "what's trending society" and if you're not trendy or tren-DING then what have you done for me lately...this is one of the biggest sociological problems we face as people. In real time people are losing their jobs, careers and great opportunities based off of this social model that happens to be one of the worst functions that the world has ever known. Back 40 years ago it was the norm and to be expected that a rookie quarterback was probably not going to see the field until year three or four and that usually worked out to the teams advantage and not their detriment. If you look at how Green Bay has taken their approach at quarterback the last 20 years you see a great model, which is the old model, which still works. Just like older cars were built better than new cars. You have to wonder if Aaron would have taken the NFL by storm if he was thrown out there his rookie year or if waiting behind Favre was one of the reasons that Aaron has had such a great career. I believe that If Jordan Love would've been thrown to the wolves he would have been eaten by them without much of a fight but since he has had to go through the same type of developmental processes that Aaron Rodgers had to go through I think you are going to see a very competent quarterback that is in total control and command of his team with the major potential of becoming a superstar.
Think about Kurt Warner for sake's sake! If he never got that famous chance that is so well renowned then he would probably be a regional or district manager of some dollar general maybe Walmart and not the Hall Of Fame MVP quarterback legend that he is today. You got to give your players time to see what they can be, you should anyway but sadly we know otherwise. If the niners go with Brock another team will pick Trey up and will probably be the winner out of the two. I think mr. Lance is going to be outstanding in the near future wherever he ends up.
He really showcases his arm strength just lasering passes through tight windows in the middle of the field...needs to improve accuracy throwing on the move though
Man I was so excited to see lance this season very exciting to watch because so much potential it was devastating to see him go out like that huge waste of a season of development
I thought I was the only one doing this 😂 To me he's clearly the guy who can become our version of Mahomes, Hurts, Burrow etc not Purdy who was/is a good story.
@@christopher7763 what did he do better than Purdy? Up to this point he hasn’t shown anything for you to even say that. The offense under him looked very stagnant, except for the occasional long ball. Is that the offense you want?
@@christopher7763 I like Lance and I hope he can take advantage of the opportunity he will get, but I’m also not going to pretend like Purdy didn’t look better. Too many people out there are caught up wanting “the next Mahomes” that they will turn a blind eye at his deficiencies.
I might have been wrong on Lance last year. I'm definitely going to watch their game this week. This 49er team could be a favorite to win the SB if Lance is what I'm starting to think he is.
man you really have to go back and watch these great plays and realize he's as good as Brock and had just that bit more to his game .....brock's upside is his experience and his accuracy is quite good....trey's uside if his leg heals properly would be his crazy threat as a runner....his passing is good especially the deep ball in these highlights.
Shanny needs to scheme them open because this guy honestly cannot throw that well into coverage his accuracy really isn't as good as people say or think it is
Lance hate is definitely ridiculous. People calling for Richardson if Houston doesnt like CJ is also ridiculous. People forget Lance was very similar to Richardson coming out just less freaky. But he was also very raw with huge ceiling. The difference is that now he has a year experience in this offense! He showed promise as he also struggled as expected. Houston IF, and it is a big IF, they dont believe in CJ as reported would be crazy to not take a at least a conditional 3rd round pick risk to give Trey Lance a shot. The team that you can build around him through the draft if you dont draft a QB would be more than good enough to see what hes got. They can vome out with something like these 2 options: 1) #2 Will Anderson, #12 JSN, #33 Mayer (TE that drops)/ Daiyan Henley/Cam Smith #65 Wypler Or Trade #2 (Would be perfect if Detroit or Seattle is willing to give up both firsts) 2) #5 Jaylen Carter/Anderson/Tyree Wilson (Maybe Richardson even falls to 5) #12 JSN #20 Bijan Robinson #33 Henley/ TE/ Cam Smith #65 Wypler. IF Houston doesnt believe in CJ it is 100% worth kicking the tires on Trey and maximizing this draft.
