Alexxis Rainey even though they recorded it here, it was more than likely mixed and processed with very very expensive equipment in a big studio. Then sent to a mastering engineer to add finishing touches to it. Being an engineer myself I'm pretty sure of it.
its really about the big studio fancy shit big space high quality equipment its about basics what you need and good knowledge mixing and mastering i have a studio in my bed room a good mic interface great pc with good mixing skills
wow this is a hot track!!! can't wait til it drop and i got all the covers you doing Trey , you mean it when you say nothings i safe you on all the hottest tracks right now... i do this in spare time, i got spare rhymes, like i got a spare mind that was ill...
troy you a beast raw talent.. im a singer tryna get into producing, my question is what effects chain do you put on your sends for the vocalist to get into the vibe of the track plz... and in what order...That looks like an audio technica 2020 is that right. great job troy and trea awesome work dudes... simply awesome !!!
You're right, the mixer definitely does matter a whole lot... Also it's not about the equipment at all, certain mics sound good on different people. It all depends on how that mic responds to your voice.
THE BEAT CRITIQUE!!!! SUP! SongbookTV..I'm curious. In what we see ya'll recording. Assuming ya'll cut the vox right in that open room(no vocal booth) Are these vocals the final cut then off to mix and master?
People always think you need top of the line everything to make a pro sounding record and thats how these companys get and stay rich. now adayz all u need is a 300 dollar mic a good interface an software and plugins and a someone running it with skills and last but not lease good songs.
There is a big misconception about recording. People think big flashy expensive studios is what gives you high quality. These dudes are practically in a dirty ass bedroom and they are making HIGH quality music. They dont have big ass mixing boards with a bunch of flashy hardware, knobs and buttons. All I see in this video is a inexpensive mic, a music program, and there is probably a good preamp in there somewhere. Add that with great editing, and BAM, you could have a smash hit record..
lol no its both andn the 4050 is an amazing mic and who knows what pre amp and converter it was going through. there are a lot of variables to a nice sound
