We depart in the Tri-Pacer Page Arizona and fly North to visit a massive crater then head to Sedona for Lunch. We end our day landing at Marble Canyon. Some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.

David, another great video. I flew over Meteor Crater when I flew from San Diego to Indiana. Thanks, Gene

I think your videos are very relaxing and you bring us to places we would never see without riding along on a flying milk stool. Good job!

Wow that's some gorgeous scenery for sure. I know pictures and video still don't do it justice. David I have an appointment at Red Stewart tomorrow Saturday to fly with Tommy. I'm finally getting started with training. Maybe I'll see you out there soon. Thanks for sharing these great videos brother.

Dude. That’s awesome. I haven’t flown with Tommy but he is one of the best instructors there. Go luck and enjoy the ride. I’m sure I’ll run into you down there sometime this summer!

Another epic video! Adding "Meteor Crater" to the title will help, since it's a tourist destination that get's searched for a lot online.

Awesome scenery in this one! Curious about your power setting at 11,500' over the Grand, and your climb rate the last couple thousand feet.

Thank you! I would say up to 9,500 everything feels normal. 10,500-11,500 she is like 200 feet per minute at best. It would take forever to get to 12,500. Haha.

Hiya Dave, Great video. The scenes are fantastic in this one. Nice landing at Marble Canyon too. Just so you know who I am, my daughter Megan and I talked with you at Moraine Airpark recently at their fun fly-in. Keep up the good work.

I know you're not too far from me, Southwest Ohio, I also know that the southwestern part of the United States is very different meteorologically than the Midwest, did you take any additional instruction on desert mountain high altitude flying or did you just kind of figure it out as you travel to cross the states? I'm curious because I'm starting my PPL at the moment and I have big dreams of flying in Utah and Idaho and Montana where I have family and friends but I'm a little concerned about encountering conditions that I'm just not trained for out there.

Totally legit question. I a did briefing with a CFI with mountain experience but no formal training. That was the main reason I went in early March. Density altitude wasn’t a factor with the cool temps. I also stayed away from the big stuff and made sure my winds were reasonable. A mountain flying course is still on my list. Why I’m sure we’ll worth it they are pretty expensive.
