Another good tip about leveling: Don't stress about it. If you lose a battle you keep all the XP and Kudos you gained. Making it possible to "grind" using the story combats.

I just got to the point where I can grind up on mock battles in the encampment. I'm in my "stone throwing" phase 😄

Give the item that makes u go first to the bird archer chick… makes it so she’s always getting into optimal positions and blind targets that are the biggest threat

This is a great video! I appreciate the the tips. The bag tip might seem simple, but I found it very helpful. It’s sometimes tempting to leave them behind to make a better battle decision.

@@taemeister9302 Already have Octopath Traveler, why do you think Triangle Strategy is bad? I like the demo. The story looks good overall, what is a negative point of the game?

I'd say that Octopath was decent for it's time. This game was like a "Octopath Traveler, but make it a Strategy RPG." If you enjoyed the demo, I think you'd like the main game. It has a lot of replay value with the different endings you can get. But, Saltymeister can have a bad attitude at times haha.

I’m in the point in the game where we must vote between 3 options, and I just can’t convince them on the one path I prefer, is there a way to buff my convictions in the encampment so that i can change that?

Yes but you have to get the information beforehand by talking to people on the explorarion phase

Hi, I'm playing the game rn and I'm loving it, but there's something I quite can't understand: how does the height system and range changes actually work? Let's take Hughette for example since she's one of the characters that benefit the most from this: on her bow it says "range 2-4 (height -20 - +8)". What does those number mean?

If I'm honest, I couldn't answer this with precise accuracy, but I imagine that her average range is 2-4 normally, but depending on the height she can receive to as much as +8 and -20 (in regard to shooting from the ground up) depending on how far up the opponent is. I'm hoping that makes sense, but put it this way, with Hughette standing on a high ground like a cliff or a house is EXTREMELY helpful for not just her range but over all DPS, since typically she only needs to take one action (attacking) rather than moving and attacking. Performing only 1 action will give Hugh a second turn 20% faster. Hope this helps!

@@JRPG-Mickey I actually found earlier today the answer to this, that "height" thing means that you can hit an enemy that is (in Hughette's case) in a vertical range of 8 tiles higher and 20 tiles lower than you and in a horizontal range of 2-4 tiles from you

My question that I can't seem to find the answer to is this: Some of the character recruitments come at odd times during the story that wouldn't make sense. Do you ever lose the chance to recruit them if you don't do it right then?

To both of you guys @Corvun Drake the character recruitments come when you have the necessary conviction values. So when I booted up the game, I had played the mock battles a ton, where I got 9 characters all in one go. I believe that if I played the game normally, they would have been spread out, not by story events, but by my conviction values when they reached the specific value needed for said character...Don't know if that's a good explanation or not, but hope that helps!

Most conviction characters (except for one, who only comes in chapter XV onwards) are automatically recruited regardless of which chapter they come starting at chapter V, so all you need to worry about is getting those conviction points

Hope you can give us a guide that leads to a true path. I've read in some online articles about having 19 chapters initially but with the right choices you can extend it to 21.

I was hesitant to click on this video at first, since I'm trying to avoid spoilers and you never know about videos. But I enjoyed your video and I'm sure that it will help me. I've played and finished the demo and will likely buy the game next weekend. I was wondering for you: is it better to go in blind? Or should I have some idea about things before the first official playthrough? I plan to play on either easy or normal mode for my run. Knowing this in mind, would it be fine to go in blind? Or would I miss too much/screw up unless I know some things in advance.

Would you be wanting to get the true ending your first playthrough? If not, I think it is totally fine to play blind the entire way through!

@@JRPG-Mickey I didn't even know there was a true ending lol. I suppose I figured there might be different conclusions based on our choices. I'm fine with getting any conclusion/ending on a first run. I just don't wanna accidentally lock myself out of really important stuff in my first run. But if we can finish the game blind and still get some endings based on choices, I'll probably continue going in blind as much as possible to avoid story spoilers. Thanks for your response!

Depends on what the levels of your team are. Benedict is by far the most useful early promote in my opinion. Hughette is pretty good, and so is Seranoa. Frederica good too!

Quick tips : keep upgrading your mages, archers and healer. Play defensive and Send serenoa and roland as a bait, and burn them. Dont care with Serenoa and Roland They sucks.
