I kept replay from Floor 23 to Floor 28 and in my 6th trip, I get Spirit Drain skill card (I also have a skill card that double the amount of the SP drain). My protagonist then never run out of SP.
Thanks for the video! I really will enjoy the game as far as it's install and it didn't lag. By the way, which button is R3 on PC, because I play it on PC. (or at least I will try it)
A few other tricks: if you hug the right shadow as you're coming to the second turn, the birds targeting you cannot turn quickly enough to actually hit you. Same if you take the little separated jag on the left at the end of section 3.
The fact that they never added anything in the remastered version to make this easier so infuriating I hate square enix 240 hrs on this still can’t beat it.
Really enjoying Triangle Strategy so far, but coming from more western TRPGs, I hate how grindy it is. I know a lot of the grindy-ness comes from conventions established by classics of the genre, but a handful of QoL updates would have gone a long way. Even if they didn't want to cut the grinding completely, would it have killed them to just have all the bags be collected automatically at the end of the battle? Or at least make that an option, like they did with difficulty?
Literally nothing is helping. Closest so far is 2.1 seconds. My thumb hurts and the birds ARE making a hard turn for me if I get stalled and get hit by 3 in a row. Playing HD version and I want to cry. I can't get Lulu's either. I get to 49 missed strikes and BAM..every time. I want to give up but without them I can't beat 2 in Monsters Arena.. I refuse to play Blitz for Wakkas.
2 years old here but legit good tip video. especially the stealing hint/tip... which if i ever did know before i watched this video, ive long since forgotten it
I was only after a simple "good to know" tips video for the game and instead I got this... A video on how to break the game by removing the challenges and such, catered towards people who has already completed the game... I would not call this a beginner video. I will follow the bit about the IC/Specialty skills section a little since it is overwhelming but I will abstain from breaking the challenge of the game.
The minimum conviction requirements to get the true ending are 444 utility to convince Anna to go along in chapter 9 and 448 liberty to convince Anna to reveal Roland's identity in chapter 10. In chapter 15, both Anna and Erador pick return home if you do not try to convince them otherwise so it's an auto win, even if you have 0 morality.
This game is absolutely kicking my ass. I just got to the Laceur area and the enemies are mad hard even on the easiest difficulty. But I think maybe I've been going about spending my SP all the wrong ways...
@@juanisidro4849 It's a phrase that means "get better at the game." Anyway, I was just making a joke. Ice Materia is your best friend in this battle. That's all I'll say. You can do it, bro.
JRPG’s aren’t for me, you have to play this game at least 5 hours minimum to do anything, too long and too boring for me personally, I just don’t have time to learn that complicated interface.
I am so damn angry at this minigame. I got a 0.0 run, and OF COURSE it had to be EXACTLY 0.0 so no Sun Sigil for me! I honestly want to meet the person who let this minigame pass QC and put them through a wall!
Hate to be that guy, but once you learn how to get past the first section with RNG it’s a breeze. You just have to be okay with resetting over and over until u get the right start. Also after u make the hard right in phase 1, bounce off the invisible wall to take the second turn.
There are some funny contradictions in this game. Like this one: indeed, he says before that the well is full of vinegar. But then, you pull up water and get rewarded with vinegar...Sadly, I wouldn't call this a side quest, as it is mandatory. I would love this to be a side quest...
I think i've found a better spot with the shinra's training machine, there is a fight that cost no money and make you face 2 machines, whatever difficulty you choose you will always earn the same amount of AP (30) in that fight so i put the easiest difficulty. Same method as you but with Thunder. The fight last around 10-15sec and rewards you with 30 AP each time which seems pretty fast and no brain strategy because you do always the same attacks because it's always the same fight.
