Another Triangle Strategy theme extended for at least 15 minutes. Reuploaded to fix a minor error. OST: www.jp.square-... Composer: Akira Senju Image source: www.4gamer.net...
@@LordofDragns Anna tends to spend 99% of maps invisible, and Hughette gets picked off early if you don't protect her til late game, and that's hard when she makes a good infiltrator
@@justinanderson1705 I think I can count the number of times on one hand Hughette has died in my playthrough. With her movement and range, it's more than easy to keep her out of range of enemies while providing control of the battlefield and chip damage. Over extending with mounted units in this game can be dangerous.
The artstyle of this game is SO good. I can't help but press X everytime a character speaks, just because the designs are so great. Erador perfectly encapsulates the loud, stout defender, Anna the taciturn spy, Benedict looks strict and serious, as he always is. Jerrom looks handsome and charming, which fits his Allure command and his overall role als loved leader of the Roselle. Erika, despite looking pretty, is constantly scowling, which reduces her attractiveness and unmasks her generally spiteful personality. The only thing I don't like is how Patriatte's character art completely revealed his personality, so I could see his betrayal coming from miles away. He serves a pretty minor role, however, so it's not that a giant plot point was revealed. The Hyzantian Saints also all look untrustworthy, but that was a good thing, because it meant I was constantly on guard and thought about all my answers carefully, which made the game that much more enjoyable. I wanted to unravel the mysteries surrounding Hyzante, because the way all the Saints looked convinced me that there was something more to the nation, as opposed to Aesfrost's pretty straightforward bad guy look. AAAAH I JUST LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!
I also love the character designs. But wow is Milo scantily clad when you see her full artwork when she's speaking dialogue. Her sprite is pretty telling but that art is very revealing xD
I personally loved Kamsell's appearance. You would think from his art that he was a brash, loud, violent man. But in the end he was just a warmhearted zealot, always striving to do what was right, was genuinely diplomatic (and his English VA has such a unique accent). His fate is one of the most tragic, a genuinely good man who was brainwashed from a young age about the ways of the world. Clarus was the big surprise for me. While a bit suspicious, his art basically made him out to be an evil mid-boss (which I suppose is true for one route) but aside from that one path, he is genuinely friendly and helptful.
@@HighPriestFuneral i have to admit I have not yet finished all paths, only Benedict’s and Roland’s. I feel like in those paths, the only saints that get only a sliver of development are Idore and Exharme. Sorsley and Tenebris were there for story purposes and Lyla loses relevance after the first few chapters. Kamsell was always just there. We didn’t even get to fight him during Benedict’s route. What you tell me about his personality actually makes him a lot more sympathetic. He did seem to be the fairest of them all, next to Lyla.
@@SvanEsch123 You can learn a bit about Kamsell regardless of ending path tho. For example, if you choose Benedict's option to destroy the dam and flood the city, Kamsell and Exharme will both agree to evacuate the citizens of the city so that there are fewer casualties. There's a pretty good conversation beforehand where Kamsell basically thinks you are ruthless/merciless to even consider such an option. But when he sees the resolve in your heart, he stands by that and agrees to do everything in his power to help the city before the flood. I think Exharme, Kamsell and Lyla are good people in the wrong regime. And Exharme often says many times that Idore is stuck in the ways of the past, while Hyzante needs a new leader for a new future. I've not played the Golden route yet, but I have unlocked the 3 other endings thus far. So keep in mind, that you can learn about these characters without the Golden ending and simply by choosing options in chapter 12 (aka destroy the dam vs destroy the bridge vs destroy the ships).
"Oh no, I'm not going to pull this one out!" *gets down to the last man standing, wins* *breathes a sigh of relief* So many battles went like that and I applaud it. I've been playing strategy RPGs since the original Shining Force and I really appreciate a game that's challenging without being unfair or frustrating. It feels tense without making me want to throw controllers. Game of 2022 so far.
So I just won my first hard mode battle and somehow Frederica ended up as the last unit standing against a Hyzantian soldier, this song just made it 10x more intense I can imagine Thalas and Erika's faces of disgust when they find out that Wolfort beat Hyzante in the tourney thanks to Frederica
When i was fighting general Avlora to defend the city, all my units have fallen and only Hughette was left. I thought I would lose for sure, until i found an extremely cheese method. If you fly to a safe square that none of the enemy units can currently reach they will stay put and not come after you(This only works with Hughette). After wach strike I felt more and more like I could win, I felt as if the music was intensifieng and that made me feel invincible. This is my fauvorite track
Although I did have hugette as one of my last units too, at least in the actual game and not the first demo, I only have 2 words for that chapter: ICE WALL. Literally the sole reason I was able to keep all my units Alive in the first demo.
The "Roland's Regiment" chapter where you kill Gustadolph ended with 1 unit left on my side being Narve at ~40 HP barely dealing enough damage to kill after the combined efforts of the rest of the team luring him into traps and surviving until that point. If I hadn't killed that turn, the healers would have restored him too.
Reminds me of the second fight against Avlora, where you agree to betray her in favor of Hyzante, all my units were down except for Rudolph. All I did was cheese her using bear traps, each one dealt about 20% of her health and she quickly went down.
Me: ah damnit everyone’s dead and I’ve accidently placed ana in range of Avlora, (Dodges), that was lucky I may be abl… ah I did it again (dodges), I’ve never had the dodge rate be this forgiving for me what is going on, (Ana dodges again and I beat the level somehow) uncontrollably laughter. (My experience of defending castle wolfort on hard mode Summarised).
I don't generally do requests, but I also wanted an extended version of that song, so I did it anyway. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y71w9Qmq63Q.html
"Oh no! Hughette's the only one left against Avlora's army! What do I--! Oh, wait! I didn't bring Jens with me" {starts sniping the enemy from the rooftops with extra healing pellets in inventory}
